I am new to polytheism, but I have found much comfort and love in worshipping Mother Nyx, and I hope to learn, share, and express myself on this blog. I have not seen much about Nyx, so I want to create a space for myself and others to show their love & admiration for Her.

I may call this a temple, but truly, there is no place better to worship Nyx than by going outside and enjoying the night. But it can be quite dangerous if you go outside, so remember to always practice safety.
I would like to make Lady Nyx one of the core centers of my practice, so I may share what developments I make in order to achieve that goal on this blog as well.

I have a question, I’ve been wanting to work with Lady Nyx, but I’m very new and don’t know how to reach out to her nor to know if she is reaching out to me.

Thank you for your ask! So first and foremost I want to say that the idea of a deity “reaching out” is a more or less modern concept and not (to my knowledge) something supported by historical records. It’s a fairly recent idea (from what I’ve seen) - and I’d venture a guess to say it’s more of a 2010s/2020s trend (but that’s just my opinion!).
If you’d like my advice; if you feel drawn to a deity, that is them “reaching out”. Devotion comes from wanting, and wanting is more than enough to spark devotion!
For historical sources and information on Lady Nyx, I’d definitely recommend checking out her page on Theoi.com.
Additionally, since she is the Goddess of the Night Sky - I would recommend conducting prayers, worship, and even research at night. To connect to her essence I would spend time looking at the night sky and stargazing. You can of course do this from a window or digitally, but to truly connect with her essence I would recommend spending time outside during clear nights where the stars and moon are most visible.
To truly connect to any of the Theoi, you need to spend time within their domains. Be that through location, action, or meditation.

She wasn’t worshiped widely and mostly cults worshiped her, but she’s in fact a very sweet Goddess even through the dark myths told, she’s one of my Patrons, it’s hard to get up at night to worship her, but she deserves some attention.
