When her legs tightened, he knew pulling her off of him would be a problem...so he did the next best thing. He bent his knees and threw himself backward onto the asphalt, slamming her back against it. If he had any luck, it would wind her enough to let go. Better luck and it would knock her out.

The impact hurt, but with her to cushion the fall it could have been worse. He slipped metal fingers behind the wire she had wrapped around his throat and pushed on it, just giving himself enough room to breathe.

BETWEEN THE FORCE OF HITTING THE GROUND, and @redstarsandnightmares weight coming down on her, Natasha hit her back and head on the ground with a hard thud. A pained sound left her lips before the air was quickly pulled from her, and she felt her head going fuzzy from the impact of her head hitting the ground.

She tried to blink through the haze that hitting her head had cause, her grip on the wires loosening slightly before she attempted to recover the action, although knowing who she was fighting, she was likely to have already made the mistake of loosening her grip at all.

He took off after the redhead at an almost leisurely pace, knowing she would exhaust herself before he did with as erratic as she was running.

He should have known better. At one time he *would* have known better. With the programming active in his mind, he only understood *mission* and *target, and both of those were darting through the vehicles parked along the edge of the road.

He recovered quickly, reaching above his head and grabbing the front of her jacket. He leaned forward quickly, using the momentum to slam her against the pavement.

When his attempt to blow up the decoy failed, he let out an exasperated growl.

The weight was nothing for him as she landed on his shoulders and wrapped the wire around his neck, trying to choke him. His instant reaction was to panic for a second, as instincts and muscle memory took over.

This wasn't a smart idea, by any means. But fighting someone like the Winter Soldier, equally not a good idea. She knew the better option was to run, but that would bring a likeliness of him catching up to Steve or Sam, wherever the hell Steve was.

She had forgotten how strong he was, one of the downsides to not fighting many super soldiers like her, was that she had to be reminded of how much more strength he had compared to her.

Natalia's grip tightened, a grunt to her voice as she attempted to squeeze her legs a little tighter in desperate hopes of not getting thrown.

“Not a chance.”

"Just give me one reason t'put you down Rumlow. Been a stressful day, could use a chance t'blow off some steam."
