Almost Done When we moved into the house in 1997 we lost a box of Christmas Tree decorations. My son found them during the Great Plumbing Disaster of 2019. The box contained my daughter's first ornament from 1983 and my son's first from 1994.

My little run in with the bank and Federal Law D is still causing trouble with my health insurance. But as far as the Government is concerned, I no longer have a Savings Account to Abuse. First time I have ever pissed off a bank and had a positive balance.

Monkey Butt 1 One day, I was feeling sorry for myself and a dear friend got me off my Pity Pot by telling me, everything, all of it, tangible and intangible, that I’d left behind would eventually be replaced with something better.

I have a new computer. All of the keys are in a virgin state. My previous keyboards each have tells. The shiny keys and keys without letters. Worn off because those are the keys I drag my fingertips over and over.

Shift, Ctrl and the Space Bar are the first to show wear, then the backspace key. All a testament to almost daily use.

I Am This Close

Again, I am guilty of letting dust gather on my blog. I suppose I owe you at least a summary of events since August.

Since our last mortgage payment a lot of things have happened. We had to buy a new refrigerator. Then our hot water heater converted itself into a hot water fountain. After replacing it with a ‘smart’ water heater we needed to replace the toilet.
