Cats are the epitamy of evil, and it just so happens that this necromanced nekomata yōkai was concentrated evil leaving nothing but scathing replies in her wake. It was probably a bad idea to look her in the eye the first time. Mewtwo would go further but then she just faintly remembers her Lord’s advice and plea to be polite. This was a warlord meeting after all and she’s representing on both Illusio and Kenshin.

‘ …But who am I to know? You could be on the ‘finer looking’ scale when it comes to warlords…or not warlords in your case. This is my first time here. ’ She shifts a little, blinking finally. ‘ …Remind me what kingdom you hail from? ’ Might help her pass judgement.   

“Hey. Who said anything about being nuthin’?” This thing was a warlord’s cat, wasn’t it? Damn entitled thing who thought it was on top of the world?

“I’m from Valora originally- had a pretty big name for myself there too. Might’a heard of the Saika? Mercenary gunsmiths? Them were my people. Now I’m in Avia and the closest thing it’s got to a junior warlord, so, you know, a word of advice: maybe lead with a question like ‘who are you’ before you start talkin’ like that. Hell, the empress is basically twelve; you gonna piss her off too by pointing it out?”

         *・ﾟ ▽  –  ' ‘Maybe a junior warlord’ doesn’t make you a vassal or even a warlord for that matter. ’ Is he trying to will some respect from Mewtwo of all beings? Not even warlords win her regard least of all good favor. The yokai was scathing in most scenarios. Mercenaries and the Saika group were especially low latter concerns or thoughts; and Avia? Funny. 

However this scruffy one .. humored her in a regard. Maybe it’s his personality. Something like a smile lifts from a still frown.

‘ And the Empress isn’t free from my concerns either. But she’s at least .. mostly confident in her seat after willing the nations together. ’ Though that’s another mess of opinions set for the warlords, not a Link no matter how involved. Whatever Kenshin wants or wills she does unquestionably.

" Of course. It’s the existential arc of all, if not most, of our characters. Us two entirely sharing very similar events.
