My personal theory is he is testing boundaries. He is addicted to getting away with shit. He spent 300 million to get Trump elected. He then convinced his bought president to let him be in charge of the money. They are talking about giving him his own office space in the White House. Elon has reached a point where no consequence can touch him. And I think he wants to see how far he can push that. Either because he is depressed and self destructive or mad with power or both.
