“Ugh - you just full named me.” Julia scrunched her nose up in clear distaste and leaned over to give him a punch in the arm. “Hate that,” She chuckled before rummaging through her locker and tossing Teddy a handful of snacks. Grabbing a granola bar, Julia sat down on the floor, crossing her legs at the ankle. “I heard you were layign down in a tub at the party?” She asked, glancing at him with an arch to her brow. “What was that about?”

“Does my love mean nothing in the face of what’s written on your birth certificate? Don’t you think it’s weird that your parents just choose some noises they like to call you? Either way yours is pretty.” Teddy winced around the punch but stuck his tongue out regardless. He caught the snacks gratefully and made general cookie monster sounds as they curled up with their backs against the lockers, folding his long limbs down. “I was sitting in a tub. Has no one here ever been to a real house party before? The bedrooms are always occupied or locked and I was too hot... ‘cause I was bein’ stupid about Jord and Sasha playing tonsil hockey.” He sighed and tried not to think of what happened at the end when the cops arrived. “I was in a room with him and Heather and they were back together? I guess?” 

“listen,” she began, “i feel like i only see you through texts right now so i will throw in some pillsbury cookies if that means you get somewhat of a regular schedule.” even with her schedule just as chaotic, especially with the curfew in place, she still was going to push for more time together. with a smile still on her face, everything else disappearing for a second, her jaw seemed to drop at his accusation, “i would what? me? i would never,” knowing it was already somewhat of a lie, especially with how long they had known each other. “yeah, you like it? can’t wait for you to see the rest of the lace underneath.”

“If that’s the nicest thing someone has ever told then you need new and more friends desperately.” Veronica remarked sarcastically. Alrighty, 5 minutes. She can wait 5 minutes, well she has no choice. “Yeah…no it’s 5 minutes or I’m kicking you out. I won’t even care if half the town sees you like an unpeeled banana.” Veronica laughed and gave a pause. “Are you close with Mike or do you just drink tequila, and lounge naked in other people’s tub for kicks?”

“There it is.” Teddy shrugged. “It was only a compliment if you were a Tony Stark kinda lady, the man is very divisive, people tend to love or hate him.” She shocked a laugh out of him at the banana comment then glanced down at his own chest. “I’m not naked! Okay, the buttons are low I admit but there are sleeves. I’ll cover up for your poor virgin eyes and modesty, don’t worry.” 

Julia opened her mouth to argue but then shut it - he was right. And at least, he made up for it with breakfast. “Okay - fine, you win there.” Julia chuckled, rolling her eyes at his comment. If he didn’t eat their leftovers, Teddy would be small too with no concerns about withering away. Jules laughed - she had known that TJ would give in the moment snacks were mentioned. Waving him over, Julia skipped a bit ahead of him to lead the way. Once they maneuvered through the hospital and arrived at her locker, Julia opened it and held out her arms to show the treasure she hid inside. “Am I your favorite person yet?”

Julia’s smile brightened into a grin when TJ finally surrendered and made his way to through the crowd. Her hand found his easily and she used the grip to pull Teddy to her and resumed her earlier dancing with a bright smile. “The key words being if you can keep up,” She teased but slowed down enough to motion for Teddy to take the lead. “Go on, TJ - show me what you got!”

“Thanks, Teddy..” she appreciated the compliment. The past was the past and she still appreciated him as a person. “I don’t want your tequila, I want you to get out of this tub and stop looking foolish.” she stated plainly, reaching up to gently run her fingers through his hair. “I’ve been great, Ted… better than ever.” it wasn’t totally the truth, but she didn’t want to divulge too much of her personal details to her ex boyfriend. It could get weird fast.
