“It’s a pretty selfish wish, isn’t it?” Teddie chuckled under his breath, rubbing the back of his head. “Change is a part of life after all. Still...this place is my home. Thinking of it changing so drastically over a single year hurts my soul...but people here seem to be content for things to remain as they are, so I’m grateful for that.” When his new friend is ready to go Teddie leads him on to the streets once more, a smile on his face. “Though they have this ramen challenge there. I had a light lunch so if it starts raining I’ll definitely try it this time!” He beams, a determined look on his face as they walk towards the shopping district. “If you do consider getting yourself a Yukata I recommend Tatsumi Textiles! My friend Kanji runs the place with his mother now and he’s pretty dainty with his fingers for a guy his size!”

Teddie smiles and looks out over the town, a soft look on his face as his mind wanders. “Yes. Someone has to watch over this sleepy town.” He breathed out, wind tossling his hair. In truth he didn’t know how long he’d be able to keep it up. He might eventually have to change his hair if his body refused to age, maybe confine himself to the Other Side for a few years. He...didn’t like the thought, but it was the truth of his situation. “It never hurts to donate just for the sake of earning some small favor down the road.” He shrugs his shoulders, looking to Kuebiko with a chuckle. “Though that would donate it towards someone else’s wish is commendable. As for me, I think I’ll wish for the same thing...that things change as little as possible here.” He muses, walking the man into the Inn. He nods, talking to a few of the employees while his new friend begins to get himself settled in. It’s clear that by the way they talk to eachother Teddie is a much loved figure in the community. Even his smooth passes at ladies are either mostly ignored or taken as a compliment, a sign that the women are used to this behavior from him. Also he’s never done anything other than talk and its’ never been in a crass way, thus the women are more than happy to receive compliments from him. Especially the elderly women like the clerk at the front desk. “Ah! Good you’re done!” Teddie called out, waving over to him. “Are you ready to head out into town. If we get there fast enough we might be able to beat the mild rain that’s going to be passing through.”

“I see.” Teddie hums out, smiling all the same. “Well you should still at least consider staying here for the Cherry Blossoms. It’s just not the same in the city!” He grins at the thought, hands behind his back. “All the stores usually have something special for the event, most of it hand crafted from home. There’s fireworks, dancing, games, the works!” He laughs out loud, a broad smile on his face. “And best of all almost everyone is dressed up in Yukata’s! Ah the city of Iniba, filled with so many beautiful flowers.” He seems to be insinuating something else there but he moves on. Then at the mention of his own helpfulness the Shadow smiles sheepishly, laughing softly at this. “Ah, it’s no trouble. I was once a stranger in this town too.” He looks up at the sky fondly, a feeling of nostalgia washing over him. “Back then I was still trying to find out who I was and where I belonged. The people here were just so kind and welcoming to me back then...how could I not do the same for others?” He then looks to his guest as the man mentions seeing the foxes, chuckling out softly. “Oh, we take good care of the Shrine. It’s a town treasure; as long as you have a reasonable wish it usually gets granted if you make it there...after a donation.” He chuckles, shaking his head as he recalls the now elderly Hermit and her little of kits who all seem to know when their mother calls. “You can come dressed in a Yukata or Kimono or simply dress casually and you’ll be fine. Oh!” He beams, the Amagi Inn coming into view. “Speaking of town treasure’s there’s another one! Come on, let’s get you checked in before they close the front desk for the day!” 

“Moving huh?” Teddie asked, pondering over the man’s path before nodding his head. “That’s a big decision. I’d probably want to visit the place I was thinking of moving to first if I was going to move.” He smiles softly, looking about the town. “Then again, Iniba is such a lovely town. I don’t think I could ever part with it.” That and someone had to keep tabs on the other side. “A wanderer, huh?” Teddie thinks over this moment, smiling. “You know Kuebiko-san, you remind me a lot of my good friend Yu Narukumi. He was something of a wanderer as well though it’s mostly because his parents were always traveling for work.” He muses, looking over his shoulder. “I guess that’s why I like you.” He beams, then his attention turns to the Sakura Festival that is coming up. “Oh it’s great! The whole town gets dressed up for it and there’s viewings almost every single night! The fox shrine gets absolutely covered with petals and you can usually see a few running about collecting donations.” He pauses, looking back over his shoulder. “Don’t ask why that’s a think. It’s just something that the Foxes here do and everyone pretty much accepts it.”
