Everyone can move on. You can be bitter, or mad at her, or cry. That’s normal. I’ve been there. But I want you to focus more on your studies first, so that you can move on with your life. There are opportunities waiting for you. It’s hard to move on, but that’s the point. You need to take steps the hard way.

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to your sister... It is really hard to lose someone who is really very dear to us. A lot of people have been in the same situation, so please do know that you are not alone on this. A lot of people are also fighting the same battles, and it's really very humbling to know that these people, despite some difficulties, are still able to find the good in their lives. You are not alone. I pray for the sincere soul of your sister. She is safe with God now. :)

It's 2015. What a surprise. Most people are happy because of their good year start. Likewise to us, as well. It's also almost 2 years since my elder sister passed away. Tonight, my mom cried, while she's cleaning up my sister's closet, because of what she found next. We've found many things in her closet. One is the photo printer. Second, credit card bills, and lastly, obviously her clothes. But it's not about the things that's important. The important here is the suffering that she took since 4th year high school, 'til her death. The sad part is that, as she gets older, things are starting to fall. One is her feet. It gets slimmer. Since she took dialysis twice per week, her feet is getting slimmer, until she can't walk normally and feel the pain, even if she just try to walk, with a leg support. Second, she gets seizures. This is the worst thing that I don't want to see, and I don't want to remember, because this is the last moment that I've remembered from her. She died by this, as what my sister reported to me after I got home. Still, at this time, I didn't cry. I don't know why. But I just thought that, she never let the pain destroy her happiness. I'm happy for her because she enjoyed everything that we did good to her. As simple as family reunions on new year's. It's very different without her. We all face different challenges in life. Pain, suffering, and much more. But, for us, this was our biggest and hardest challenge of all. Making my sister endure the time that's been given to her. And we all think that it still isn't enough.

We've done so many memories this 2014 (well, who doesn't?).
2 days left before 2015. A new chapter will be written. Everything will be new again. But at some point, we'll miss a few things as we go through 2015.
Mine was the biggest mistake that I've made, that made me change. I'm not gonna share it publicly, but that was the time that I woke up and realized, I've made something that will destroy my progress.
But I won't forget that, because 2 weeks from that moment, I've brought back my focus on studying.
Another great memory, is the reunion of my father's siblings (well, almost). It's funny, because I'm expecting that this won't really happen, because of time, and money to buy plane tickets. But it happened, and luckily it's by accident.
Then there goes bowling, and other fun stuff that they did just to maximize the days remaining for them to feel what it's like to be a "Calagos" family again. Let's say, feels for the legacy.
Another great memory, is joining the DLSU HackerCup. Well, because it's my 1st time to join in this kind of events, which happens to be an app development. Not my forte or so, but it turned out to be a really good experience.
Making an app prototype for 24 hours is like, starting the project before the deadline, with my partner, Mike. It's sad that 2 of our members didn't come. Took us a lot of coffee, some Kinect playing, and Dota 2 bot plays, to make a prototype. It's not bad though, but it's not as functional as to the other teams.
And then there comes the mini-memories, like successfully passing all of my subjects this year, with no failures, and recently got high grades, and a new phone, which is my not-so-high dream, the Zenfone 5.
And then there's that. My 2014's great memories. I can't remember them all. Well, awesome stuff happens along the way. But the important part here is that, looking back at the start of 2014, you'll find yourself in a blank chapter, that will be filled with journeys to the last day of the year. It's still not the end of 2014, but I'm pretty sure that it will end the best.

Today I've managed to accomplish How I Met Your Mother series for the 7th time. I have so many things to do and finish, but I've chosen to finish the series instead.
I'm a hopeless romantic person. Every time I like someone and go talk to them, it's either I get in the friend zone, or they'll move away.
This is why I like to watch romantic-comedies. Like HIMYM, which is my all-time favorite, A to Z, and the list goes on.
What doesn't stop me from watching this is the fact that this TV series gives me hope that I'll find that special someone, someday. It's a long road, and so you need to keep driving, until you've reached your destination.
So as God. I'm not the guy that always pray, goes to church, or anything religious. Instead, I rely to my own instincts, and faith. A priest said to us that, instead of depending yourself on praying and praying, why don't you do what you've prayed?
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that, don't ever lose hope. For me, hope is what keeps me alive. Just continue to do what you want to do, and don't stop, until you've reached the peak of what you're doing. Just make sure that on everything that you do, always thank God, because he gave you hope. :)
