Civita di Bagnoregio - My first reaction to hearing about this “dying town” was why would I want to see this catastrophe? But my cousin kept saying that it’s an amazing sight. Well he was right! Wow 😮 this place is archeological coolness that must be seen. A compressed background is that it was basically founded by Etruscans more than 2,500 years ago. Civita became known in Italian as La città che muore ("The Dying Town"). Civita has only recently been experiencing a tourist revival by a group of artists. The town that was in decline is now bustling as a tourist destination by more than 800k visitors. Interesting that it’s one of the few towns that demands a visitor fee of 5 euro to enter. Was it worth the visit? Oh yeah! . #italy🇮🇹 . #techgeektraveler #italytrip #civita #civitadibagnoregio #canoneosm50 #canonphotography #canon📷 #phototag_it #italiantown #bagnoregio #lazio #bloggerlife #travelblogging #passportready #travelislife #travelisthenewclub (at Civita di Bagnoregio)
