The Place Where I Am

came out of my cave to watch the concert... and pretty much having mixed emotions, as with every other graduations. nanase was a part of my nogi holy trinity (ikunanamai), and losing her was such a big blow for me. i can only imagine how big of a blow it is to nogi.

nanase's graduation... i won't say it's an end of an era, but it's definitely an end of something.

as for the concert itself, i find it amazing how it was done in true nanase fashion. like, it was grand yet subtle at the same time? i mean, yeah sure, members were flying, fires were lit, etc etc. but there were barely any fuss with the graduation itself. no muss, no fuss. there were less mc segments, more performances. like i've always said before, nanase was truly one of nogi's better performers. she excels on stage, not on variety. so if this type of concert doesn't scream nishino nanase, then i don't know what is, lol.

more random things: - maiyan... god bless her, she was really trying to hold back those tears and kept on smiling 'til the end. when i saw her stubbornly clinging to ikuchan during the closing minutes, it felt like she was holding on to her anchor. she wouldn't even come close to nanase after the hug and was just watching over the sidelines even though she looked like she wanted to.

-ikuchan, my lil bub. i'm really starting to dread the day when your turn comes. i know it's inevitable, and i feel like it's gonna be sooner rather than later, but still... if i am this affected by nanase's graduation, then what more with yours?

- lastly, i cannot count the times i screamed whenever i saw zukki and her long hair on cam. i don't think i have done it enough, though. sorry not sorry

Unfortunately, I haven’t really been keeping up for the past the months as well, but just the other day, Nanase dropped the big G bomb on her blog... way ahead of everyone’s expectations, especially since everyone and their mothers were sure Maiyan is the one to graduate first.
