Ladybug: “Adrien, I’m so glad you’re okay. I was worried sick!”

Adrien: “Hey… look at me. It’s all over. Your powers healed me and fixed everything. Everything’s okay now. You don’t have– “

Marinette needs her moment, too. It’s what she deserves, after everything.

The first thing Luka said, after all the crying and shaking and holding, was, “Let’s go home.”

He always had the habit of not speaking much, except when he really needed to. If he could substitute music for words, he would. But whenever he did speak, anything and everything he said would resound in Marinette’s head for days. Things like, it sounds like you have something like this in your heart, or you’ve been the song playing in my head since the day we met. Or now.

You can be yourself with me, you know. Just yourself.

Marinette couldn’t remember what that even meant, or the last time she’d ever actually been herself. Just herself. Maybe it was all those months ago, when she’d saved Master Fu from that oncoming car. Maybe it was after her first couple of missions as Ladybug, when something stirred inside her and said, This is who you’re meant to be. But the more she thought about that, the more she started to conclude that maybe that wasn’t really herself. Maybe it was only someone the people around her wanted her to be, needed her to be, without ever realizing that they were asking it of her.

It took her ages to finally let go of Luka, to allow herself to only be tethered to him at the hand, but even now, she decided, she wasn’t really herself. Some part of her started to wonder, as she pressed her thumbs against his ring and wristbands, whether he ever felt like this too. If it was a teenager thing, or a superhero thing, or an unfortunate combination of both.

If it was both, she thought, then this sucked. Massively.

I swear the title says it all. I’m rewriting every episode starting with Origins Part 1 and ignoring most of season three. Can’t be anymore of a train wreck than the show’s canon so all aboard.

Okay guys, I've been meaning to make this for a while. But does anyone else think that by the end of Desperada, Luka concluded on his own that Marinette is ladybug? Here's my evidence.

Point 1:

Unlike Adrien, Marinette is able to be herself around Luka. Because of this fact, and the fact that Luka likes her, which means he probably pays more attention to detail, Luka sees Marinette's Ladybug like qualities from the get go, like her ability to get out of sticky situations, Her determination to do what's right and help others, and how "incredibly brave" she is. etc. Even though Adrien sees some of these ladybug like qualities, he from the beginning has known Marinette to be a cluts who gets overwhelmed easily. Which in Adriens mind, dispels the chances of her being his confident ladybug. Luka on the otherhand, knows full well that Marinette likes Adrien, and understands that the way she acts around Adrien has nothing to do with who she is as a person and everything to do with her crush making her act crazy. So, it's safe to say in my opinion, when he looks at Marinette he would never have a reason to believe she WASNT Ladybug, unlike Adrien.

Now on to the whole episode of Desperada.

Point 2:

When Luka walks in on Ladybug and Adrien, after Adrien finally gives up on trying to help Ladybug as Aspik, Luka watches as Adrien tells her she made the wrong choice and that she should give Luka the Miraculous. Then Marinette proceeds to kiss Adrien on the cheek and thank him before giving Luka the Snake Miraculous instead. This parallels the same exact behavior we witnessed at the beginning of the episode, of Marinette choosing Adrien to play for Jagged stone instead of Luka(the obvious choice). Then there's the whole kiss on the cheek. Need I remind you, Luka knows exactly how Marinette feels towards Adrien. Ladybug chose adrien and kissed him. That was likely just another clue for Luka.

POINT 3:

Don't even get me started on THIS HEART EYE LOOK LUKA GIVES LADYBUG. Along with the look, something else I noticed while making this Gif is Lukas breathing. It's super subtle, but it looks as if he does a long inhale and short exhale as he watches ladybug yoyo away. I personally see this as a common way of breathing when you are in awh of someone, like....... your crush.

(quick side note: anyone else think Marinettes line here of, "you were the right choice" may be foreshadowing of her picking luka in the next season?🤷‍♀️)

and finally? Point 4:

LOOK AT THE LOOK LUKA GIVES ADRIEN WHEN THEYRE PLAYING ON STAGE AT THE END OF THE EPISODE. I genuinely believe this face is an "I was able to help ladybug(marinette) capture Desperada and not you" face. A competitive face. Like he won and was gloating a bit. Meanwhile, Adrien is typical Mr. oblivious!! And though Luka is not the kind to be jealous, let's be honest, he likes Marinette, there is no way he doesnt see Adrien as competition. It's only natural he may feel this type of way, especially after how she acted at the beginning of the episode.

And before anyone argues that that's just the face he's making because he's getting into the music? NO. I've looked at the footage, Luka does not usually make this face while he's "rockin out". And for comparison, I put a clip of the first time him and Adrien played together on stage before he knew Marinette liked Adrien. You can't convince me this look doesnt mean something!!!

I have several issues with Kagami in Loveater and Miracle Queen. And trust me when I say I have some issues with Adrien too.

Here’s the the thing, you know what I like about Marinette the most? SHE DOESNT TRY TO MANIPULATE THE PEOPLE SHE LOVES. SHE DOESNT STRING THEM ALONG FOR REBOUND PURPOSE. If she thinks someone will be happier without her, then she will let them go.

NEITHER KAGAMI OR ADRIEN DO THIS. WHAT THE FUCK.

Kagami and Adrien are a MESS of a ship and it’s frustrating me.

1. Kagami knows Adrien is in love with someone else, but still tries to kiSS HIM.

2. Adrien still does clearly flirt with her despite being iN lOvE with Ladybug. Making it seem like something is there when "I’m not ready for that". But then again he flirts with Marinette as well.

3. Adrien has been flirting with Ladybug, Marinette and Kagami who he believes are three different girls. He may see Marinette as a friend but he does flirt with her unintentionally. Don't try to tell me he ain’t a player because he "loves" Ladybug.

4. Kagami is right when she called him indecisive, he can’t seem to chose his own paths and he would benefit from being more decisive. But she is wrong for making the situation about HER...here’s why:

5. If Adrien is actually trying to pursue a relationship with her, then shame on Kagami for making him feel like he’s the bad guy. He literally told her I ain't ready for that, and she goes woe is me.

6. If my guy told me he wasn’t ready but was interested in a relationship with me we would take things SLOW. Those two are going WARP speed. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get married in season 4.

7. I’m fully in the belief that Kagami is making herself rebound and she is better than that.

I don’t hate Kagami and Adrien but the lack of socialisation and common sense is painfully obvious as they try to build a relationship. It's painful to watch.

It's so clear that they never had to think about anyone but themselves for the longest time and while that is due to their upbringing. It’s a cringe fest watching them do anything as a "couple" that I’m meant to take seriously. Kagami and Adrien both still have trouble with "friendship" and they shouldn’t be working on a relationship.

Their relationship theoretically could work, but in the show I’m dying. If they were older it would be better.

Luka and Marinette are a much healthier relationship, and here's what they do better:

1. Luka is very aware of Marinette’s feelings for Adrien and never ever pressured her into leaving her crush for himself. He knows she is emotional and sensitive about that.

2. Luka is incredibly considerate and supportive of her. She chose to go after Adrien and he let her. Marinette did the same thing for Adrien letting him hang out with Kagami.

3. They are not moving into a relationship at warp speed, they are doing the right thing and acknowledging that there is something here but not acting upon immediately it like a certain ship is.

4. Luka has made his intentions known aka his love confession but has never tried to kiss or force Marinette. Have they hung out and has been sort of romantic? Yes, but if Marinette wanted to stop he would have.

5. Marinette has made her feelings clear and doesn’t want to hurt Luka but at the end of Miracle Queen it’s obvious that she likes him. She isn’t stringing him along at least.

6. Marinette has basically let Luka know that she isn’t ready for a relationship with him, and Luka doesn’t see it as him being inadequate like Kagami. He is just like cool I can wait.

Kagami was like this in Frozer, saying when he quit she would be there waiting but nope. She threw that out and went for a kiss. She is impatient damn.

Marinette and Luka haven't been sheltered by their families their whole lives. They been able to socialise and interact with people their own age. They've built a lot of empathy and are very receptive towards each other's feelings. Never pushing one another pass where they are uncomfortable and being supportive.

Kagami and Adrien don’t do this because they've never done anything like it before.

They are constantly pushed pass their limits by their parents, and they are never comfortable in situations. So why would their relationship be any different? They've never been able to say no without consequence, or able to make friends. What part of that equals a successful relationship? None of it.

Kagami and Adrien could be a great couple if they had more experience in the world of socialisation. If they waited til their older their could be potential.

I want Luka to have Flaws.

I want him to be a f***ing character and not just a prop/prize. 

I don’t think Luka not having flaws is a good thing. Even if its a perspective matter. 

I honestly fear that Luka will not Get flaws. Not with the way he has been written so far.

But then again the show is mainly from Marinette’s perspective. 

What even would be mr.Blueberry’s flaw?

I couldn’t tell ya.

Maybe Passivity.

Maybe he is Kagami’s opposite. He doesn’t act, he is too go with the flow?

Ok DOES ANYONE RECOGNIZE THE FRICKIN DISASTER BEING A GUARDIAN IS? ANYONE?

The moment Master Fu opened his eyes and he couldn't recognize Ladybug or Chat noir, I was gaping so hard at my screen. My only thought was "Please tell me you only forgot their identities and not your whole life. Your love. No''

But then he forgot them all? He couldn't recognize the love of his life when he saw her? You know what that means? Every single moment starting from he was a little child who just became a guardian and his love and literally everything about his youth and what's after that was forgotten. Gone with the wind.

You know what that means?

Marinette is gonna live her teenage years, fall in love, whether it was with Luka or Adrien, experience new feelings, go on dates, have her first real kiss, she'll get married, have kids, all of that to be gone within seconds when she hands the guarding to another miraculous holder. Even if grown up Adrien manages to be by her side just as master fu's lover, ALL HER MEMORIES WITH HIM, THE FEELINGS SHE FELT, THE VICTORIES SHE MADE WHEN FIGHTING HUNDREDS OF AKUMA VILLAINS WILL BE GONE. IT'LL BE ALL A STORY OF A GIRL ONCE UPON A TIME.
