Wanted to try out renting cds from my public library as I got my old portable cd player. Don’t want it collecting dust. That said, I saw through the library’s catalogue that they had a bunch of Nine Inch Nails albums.

Only difference b/t cd rentals and book rentals is that I get 3 weeks on books but 1 week on cds. That said, both get three renewals.

Liked the song Running

The Downward Spiral

Think my fav song was Ruiner but I also liked Heresy & I Do Not Want This. Also the abrupt pauses in some of the songs was very interesting. Title is definitely apt for the course; how it felt listening to it. Especially w/ all the electronic elements

Add Violence

Apparently this one was an ep instead of an album. Vaguely know the difference b/t the two so will look that up.

Overall, so far, their music has that sci-fi ‘can fit so much unethical experimentation in this bih’ vibes. Especially the instrumental tracks where there’s a line of vocalization here or there.
