Today we covered a handful of tactics that trolls use on The Internet, and we mentioned quite a few articles for additional reading. Here they are:

-Conspiracy theorists and the church shooting: we referred to a sect of the Internet that doesn’t believe that mass shootings happen, this video and article covers two such people.

-Doxing the hacker that helped in the WannaCry attack: journalists revealed the identity of the person responsible for helping stop the malware attack.

-Bye Felipe and When Women Refuse: collections of women’s experiences with men once they say no to men’s advances. Warning: there are threats of violence, etc. also, news collections that refer to murder and assault.

-Gaslight’s Wiki page: information about the play the tactics gaslighting is named for

-Women Don't Owe Men a Debate About Feminism: an essay about how women shouldn’t continue to bear the emotional burden of convincing men that sexism exists or why we need feminism.

-Men are terrible drivers, even though they slander women; some evidence is here, here and here.

This week we talk about therapy, and finding a therapist when you’re ready to go can be a bit of a daunting task. I’ve grabbed a few links to help-- I love how BuzzFeed makes it easily digestible in these articles.

You take care of your loves often times before you take care of yourself. I missed my first week with no podcast episode because I was recording with my husband, and he’s had a helluva few weeks.

I don’t regret waiting for him, the episode isn’t more important than spending time with my husband. Plus, after being hounded by people all day— the last thing i want is for him to feel like I’m drilling him instead of letting him enjoy quiet for a bit.

This is me, like a week before giving birth to Charlie, that belly was so round and big!

Here’s the chart of how wide your cervix dilates to during labor.....nothing to sneeze at, right?

See? In the beginning you don’t need to make a lot of milk, because they can’t even stomach it! Breastfeeding is a slow journey you’ll take together, be kinder to yourself during it.

This is the scoring system I referenced, in case anyone is curious on what they grade and how.

I also referenced the Group B Streptococcus test, but wasn’t sure of the name haha so there’s the link in case you want to read more about it. If you’re feeling adventurous or curious, here’s the poop guide I mentioned— be warned though, there’s poop pictures in it, not drawings!

So many people are worried about failing at things because they “don’t have the skills”, but truly enthusiasm is a huge part of succeeding at anything! You’ve got to be willing to do it, be willing to fail, and be ready to try again-- that sounds a lot like enthusiasm to me.

if something has you so excited you wanna try it, then try it! don’t worry about getting it right, or what other people will think. just do it for you first, get a proper feel for it, then you can worry about refining it.
