Learning to love yourself is one of the hardest journeys you will ever go on, but my god, it is so beautiful.

All I know is that I want to wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life. And I’m wondering if it’s ok for you to be my safety. I’m always telling people not to rely solely on others; to not let another person become a savior. But when I put my head on your chest and you wrap your arms around me, I swear I feel more whole. I don’t believe in better halves, but I do believe you make me better. I don’t know how to love people without holding them too closely, but it seems you hold me just as tightly. I don’t need someone to save me, but you are the safest thing in my world. You are the arms I come running back to. You are the home my heart never even knew it needed. All I know is that I want to wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life.

I hope you’re living a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.
