Since all the hate towards gidcroft comes from OC x Victor shippers, I wondered if any pairing with Victor is problematic? So, you're shipping your OC with a character who's spent his entire life experimenting on cloned children. Is that okay? It's just that often in these fanfics, the OC is a Rhodes Hill employee who admires Victor's scientific work. I read a similar fic today. Why is something like that considered acceptable, while gidcroft are something outrageous?
