I love all JinMao illustrations but something about the smug aura these two carried in this one!!!
I think this illustration unlocked the side of Jinmao we talk about least — how TERRIFYING these two actually are in their verse!
I think we as fans mostly focus on freaky Jinmao, weird Jinmao, politically constrained Jinmao etc etc, this illustration is asking, "Have you thought about the power of DIABOLICAL Jinmao??? Have you considered the possibility of 'can-end-your-life-with-a-smile' Jinmao?” and I love this illustration for that!!!

I love this for my little GiyuShino brain that Shinobu shares official illustrations/panels with every Water Family member!
I mean she shares visual space with Makomo, Sabito and even Urokodaki (and obv Tanjiro/Nezuko!)....
For the screencap at fourth from left, the full illustration has Water Breathers and Shinobu and Rengoku and I have a hc that Giyu was not included deliberately, otherwise it would have been too obvious with Shinobu and all Water Breathers!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Shinobu also shares individual screen space with Yae and Murata, some other relevant characters in Giyu's individual arc lore!
I mean look at this Taisho era secret extra that only aired in Japan, she here with the last members of this Giyuu's found family!
The fact that Shinobu has officially shared screen space with all secondary characters that form part of Giyu's lore as Hashira (except for his sister) is interesting!
Also, these are all snippets from anime and extra material like gakuen manga and gaiden! It seems like except for Gtg everyone else who worked on this story saw their potential! But I don't complain because Gtg did give us one of the best portrayals of feminine rage, and I take canon Shinobu ending without love interest a good detail for her character in her own way!
