GISHWHES 2017 - Team Minions It is finally that time of the year again. People are slowly starting to prepare for the craziness to come, while we still try to get in the sleep from last year - GISHWHES registration is open! And Team Minions is once again on the hunt for some new members.
Our Team: This team has been running since 2013 though we get new members each year. Each times we got to nearly 100 items, with a pictures in 2014 and 2013s Coffee Table Book and some in the GHOF. I honestly couldnāt be prouder! We skype a lot (and with that I mean nearly constantly), we organize through a Facebook Group and have members from all around the world. The people in this Team became my friends, my family. Not only did we have a great time during GISHWHES but I also know throughout the whole year that I can talk to any of our members about anything in the world - and I did so on many occasions. I have never met more heart-felt, kind, crazy, funny and abnosome people.
You wanna join Team Minions? We do take GISHWHES serious. We wanna do a lot of items. And still our main course for GISHWHES is the fun of it, the love, the craziness and the kindness! So we are looking for open-minded people, with no shame (okay, we all were embarrassed at a lot of points during GISHWHES, but the point of it is to say screw it and do it anyways) and no need of sleep (jk, we do sleepā¦ sometimesā¦). You should be able to commit to that one week (even though we all do work or have school during that week or other things coming up once or twice, so we definitely understand! Normal life stuff is just so boringā¦) It is no problem if this would be your first year! i wonder if magic is real, but only in a really mundane way.
when i was little i could almost inerringly switch back to disney channel right as the ads ended when i was channel surfing.
maybe youve never accidentally crushed a ladybug underfoot. maybe your microwave popcorn never burns. maybe you can spin around lots and lots of times before you get dizzy.

honestly im not sure if these are magic or just small, invisible skills. im not sure which i like better.
My ankles never twist. Ā Iāve always been rather active, I did track for five years (all the running events), and one time while running I stepped in a hole, lost my shoe, and landed sprawling about five feet away. Ā I pulled my shoe on and kept running.
I have a coworker who somehow makes better coffee than everyone else even though the grounds come pre-measured and all you have to do is load them up and push a button. Ā I have a friend who has inch long nails that never break. Ā My brother can copy origami just by looking at the finished product and my mother can do the same with knots. Ā I knew a guy who never made an error when typing.
Maybe we all have little magics, the kind that you donāt realize you have. Ā Just tiny things that make your life slightly better but are completely unnoticed on the outside.

Nooo Iāve actually shared this theory before. Like my Dad is really lucky finding parking spaces. And Iāve never cracked my phone even though I drop it on the time and have an average case. Like what if everybody gets one trivial part of their life that theyāre illogically lucky at?

Miss Jean Louis
Miss Jean Louis always led a very elusive life so there is not much known about her. Despite the frustrating lack of information, we ā Team Minons ā have been able to gather some shocking new information.
It has widely been assumed that Miss Jean Louis is a human given her ability to tweet and maintain an active social media presence but it has now become clear that this assumption was wildly unfounded. Miss Jean Louis is in fact a member of a new species we have been instructed to call āreptiliosaurusā. It is hard to believe, we know, which is why we also bring you photographic evidence of this fact.
An exclusive interview with those close to Miss Jean Louis has revealed that the reptiliosaurus is a highly intelligent and social animal. They can live for well over 2585 years with the oldest living into their 3000s. This ancient species is only native to one small group of islands in the South Pacific. The Pitcairn Islands are home to a small population of only 45 people. The inhabitants of these remote islands have made it their duty to protect the dwindling number of reptiliosaurusā on the island. Numerous cults and religions on the island have rose to prominence with the goal of worshiping Miss Jean Louis and other members of her species.
It is thought that despite their reptilian appearance they are in fact very similar to humans. They have complex languages as well as unique and highly developed societal structures. The reptiliosaurus have some unique dietary requirements, calling themselves pesca-pescatarian, they strictly eat only fish that eat other fish. It is not known why this is the case but for fear of our lives we did not question it further.
All other questions after questioning the reptiliosaurusā diet were met with angry glances and murmuring. In order to preserve our precious interviewerās sanity, life and limb we thought it best to end the interview there.

Story time: The teacher whom I wrote this letter to remembered me and tracked me down on fb, then she send a letter to me trough my workplace (which she found on fb). I cried. This was very personal and embarrassing and crazy and one of the most freeing experiences I ever had.
