I only discovered Dashbored very recently but it’s made me laugh, cry, wallow in shame and simultaneously strive to be better. It’s a really incredible game and nothing has touched me quite like it! I wanted to try and put some of that love into an animation for everyone to see… go replay Dashbored and marvel at all the tiny details…..

Why doesn't Alex have a nose? I've been plagued by this question since the very first play of Nashbored and Dashbored...

It's just a stylistic choice. Alex does have a nose, so it's not like he looks weird to the other characters (well, maybe he does, but for other reasons) , we just don't see the nose. DashBored is a hodgepodge of all sorts of characters I made from when I was a little kid through when I was a teen, so there's an odd mixture of styles and design philosophies going into it, which don't always totally line up, but I sort of prefer it that way.

I feel like Alex is just a noseless character stylistically, and a nose just doesn't fit him and feels weird on his face whenever I have tried to draw him with one. You'll notice that other characters, like Venus from Psychopomp, are often drawn without a nose, but then will have a nose in certain art. It's mostly just what I'm feeling at that moment.

I’ve been going to a lot of cons lately and it seems like a wonderful and fun opportunity to bring your art to life!! But I know it’s a bit pricey too, so I’ll have to make some visual concepts first…….
