Your emotion will always tell you whether you are in a state of resistance or allowing because emotion is the physical reflection of the vibration that you hold.
Resistance is oppositional force. It can be obvious such as people or circumstances that oppose you. But it can also be internal. What we don´t know is that external resistance is a reflection of internal resistance - usually internal resistance we are completely unaware of.Â
Resistance comes in the form of any thought, belief, word, desire or action that pulls against the thing you want. Select what you want and then watch every thought you think and with each one, decide whether that thought pulls towards or against the thing you want. If it pulls in the direction of what you want, it will feel like relief internally. If it pulls against what you want, it will feel like tension or pressure internally.Â
We all have multiple personalities within one body. The aspects of those internal selves often oppose one another. That way you end up with internal resistance as one pulls one direction while the other to another. It causes us pain as we can not move forward as one integral being.Â
Sometimes, our real reason for doing something is not actually in alignment with who we are authentically and what we want authentically. When this is the case, we fall out of touch with why we are even trying to succeed at what we are trying to succeed at. Because of this, not all parts of us are on board with our goal. It starts to seem like our bodies sabotage us and our actions sabotage us.Â
We must think we are good to such a degree that we cannot open up our vision wide enough to recognize aspects of ourselves that are out of alignment. We have to take a good look at our justifications - the very rational, mature reasons we give ourselves for why we cannot do something we feel inspired to do or even know we must do. We have to decide if it is more important to be right or more important to let ourselves feel joy.Â
In order to avoid abandonment and social conflict, we ´put a lid on ourselves´. We restrict ourselves, we go against our natural desires. We deaden ourselves and our ability to feel so we can live in this state or shall I say, not really live. We experience shame for our sensual pleasures, sexuality, sensuality and virility. We have our personal power over to others to avoid consequences and we lose touch with our passion and purpose as a result. As a result, we lose our vitality and feel like we have no energy.Â
No amount of action will replace the damage a thought “I can´t“ does but you can absolutely use action to create the quality thoughts you are thinking.Â
