if anyone knew teagan, they knew that she wasn’t the ‘relationship’ type, meaning that when someone she didn’t even know was pretty much stalking her to try and get a chance to ask her out, she had to put an end to it. however, her being her meant that she was going to do it in a way that was fun to her. she quickly made her way over to someone she knew, wrapping her arms around theirs with a sickeningly sweet smile. “i need you to pretend to be my significant other for a few, got it?” she asked, making it seem like she was talking about something else. “i might have someone following me who thinks they have a chance with me and i want them to leave me alone. i’ll buy you drinks if you go along, okay?”
“unpopular opinion,” jemma began, taking a sip from the rapidly cooling green tea in her cup. “—but i’m actually REALLY glad that award season is over. i mean, don’t get me wrong, i love getting dressed up every weekend to stand in a congratulatory circle-jerk with the rest of hollywood as much as the next guy, but maybe now we can all get back to work instead.”
teagan hadn’t even been paying attention at first, lost to the music that was blasting through her earbuds. however, there was a pause in the songs and she heard another voice, quickly removing the buds from her ears. “i get what you mean.” she nodded, her brow raising. “it’s not like they give out awards to the stunt doubles anyways so why do i even have to be there? i’d rather be at some party or something, you know?”
unfortunately, today was not the best for odette. her coffee order was completely wrong (and it obviously wasn’t the end of the world until everything else went wild), she spilled that wrong coffee order all over her script, and now she couldn’t find her phone. “hey, can you call my phone? i can’t find it anywhere.” she mumbled, now ruffling through her purse and not even bothering to look up to notice who was in front of her.
due to teagan going out the night before, her day had been nothing but her being late. to literally everything, even things she didn’t have a set time to be there for she felt as if she was late. but it didn’t matter anymore, she was finally starting to get her day back together when she heard a familiar voice. “don’t tell me you left it in an uber.. i’ve been there, it’s hell trying to get your shit back.” teagan responded before pulling her phone out of her pocket, going through her contacts to find odette’s number. “where was the last place you saw it?”
it had been the sole counting down of minutes before the inevitable OUTCOME of events ; the writer’s block. his brown hues were fixated on the laptop screen in front of him, aimlessly wandering over the empty, bright white pages of the document in front of him, which — in any other case — would be covered in thoughts, ideas, dialogue and words within a split second and a seemingly natural movement of his FINGERS. today was the mere exception to the rule. despite the earlier days of peaked inspiration and restless nights due to the outburts of ideas bottled up within the limited space of his mind, his thoughts were as empty as the pages on the screen. and it INFURIATED him, it drove him insane to the extent where his fingers were buried into the dark locks of his hair, pulling on the ends as he begged for something, anything to appear in order to make the EMPTINESS be replaced by a spark of his thought process. nothing. nothing happened. it was the sigh slioping past his lips that pulled the brunet from his own little world, his empty little world, back into the reality of the set with the crowds of people wandering around, with the seemingly ENDLESS possibilities of stories. nothing. still nothing. it were the final groan that indicated max’s end of the battle with himself over the script he was writing, settling for a gulp of the black coffee that stood by the side of the desk he sat at, before his eyes met the gaze of the familiar set of hues opposite of him.
lucky for teagan, she’d had most of the day off from work, meaning that she decided to spend it away from set as much as she could. however, she’d forgotten to return a piece of wardrobe that they had to fit for her for a scene that they’d had some troubles shooting due to technical and wardrobe difficulties. now, this wasn’t saying that the wardrobe was badly made, because she’d never seen a bad piece of clothing coming out of that department. it just wasn’t letting her move around as freely as she needed to in one of the stunts. an easy fix, but one they couldn’t do without the piece of clothing that was still in her possession, so with a small groan she headed towards beacon. after being there for a while, she couldn’t seem to find anyone from the wardrobe department, so she decided to go to someone who could easily return the clothing back to them once they returned. sure, the writer of the show really didn’t work in the department, but she figured it was her best bet. teagan had pushed open his office door so quietly that she knew he hadn’t heard her, plus with the look on his features she figured he was off in his own world. quickly she made her way over to a seat, placing herself in it as she finally noticed him looking at her. “um, the wardrobe department wasn’t there... and i needed to return this so i figured you’d be my next best bet.” she started, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “you okay? look a little flustered.. however, i’m sorry if i caught you at a bad time, i can go if you’d like?”

lsn ok teagan grew up... hella wealthy.. however, that money was not really made legally ??
her parents were a part of the irish mafia ( or irish mob, however u wanna phrase it ) and lets just say she didn’t have the most ‘normal’ life growing up bc of if.
even though her parents did that for a living, they tried to keep her and her older brother out of the loop as best as they could, making a life for their kids that was not a life like their own.
however, she knew there was something up at a very young age, there were far too many times where her parents were gone late at night for her not to catch onto their job positions.
but for the longest time, she just told herself they were doing whatever they needed to do to keep her and her brother safe and left it at that.
being the curious person she was, she ended up sneaking out of her first day of class ( i’m talking middle school here ) one day, tracking down her parents car and found a window that was open and listened to the entire conversation about how they needed to end an opposing gang that was treading too close to her parent’s teritorty. that’s when she found up they were much higher up in rank than she thought.
she kept quite about it for a while, dropping subtle hints here and there until her parents finally caught on. they weren’t even mad that she eavesdropped on their conversation, instead they sat her down at a very young age and explained everything they did and why they needed to do it.
not only that, they started training teagan as well, teaching her how to use various weapons, how to pick locks, how to get in and out of places unseen and everything else she would need to know to eventually take their place one day.
much to their surprise, teagan picked up on these things as easy as it was for her to breathe the air around them. she was a natural born criminal and that made them proud as can be. but she knew she wasn’t the only child they had, so she tarted asking questions.
after asking why her parents weren’t teaching these things to her brother, she found out that his life path was no hat of their parents. her brother had enlisted into the military and after getting shipped away for a while, came back to ireland and started training to become a cop.
for a while, she couldn’t understand it, wanted to know why her own brother would be on the side that could potentially lock their parents away for the rest of their lives.
but that didn’t matter, he wasn’t even an offical officer when she was pulled out of school only to be told their parents died in a crash. it was almost too much for her to deal with, but it also made it clear to her why her brother chose a different path.
she knew that crashes happened and for a year or so, she lived with that and just wrote it off as an accident. but what people didn’t know was that she’d become really, really good at hacking into people’s information, finding out that her parents weren’t just killed in the crash, they were murdered. the whole thing was a set up.. done by someone below them in ranks that didn’t like the fact they were in power.
this set teagan off, making her go into this downward spiral that even her brother couldn’t get her out of.
she went out partying at a young age, started doing drugs.. anything that would make her forget about her parents for a while.
not only did that happen though, she became more and more motivated to take over their legacy, bursting in on ofne of the mafia’s meetins only to punch the person responisble directly in the face. she thought it would get her killed, and there was a part of her that didn’t care. but it didn’t, in fact it not only scared the other mafia members, but it instilled a respect for her in them that she had gotten from her parents.
things were find for a while, she was 15 and living with her brother who tried to keep tabs on her as much as he could, but even theat didn’t help him when he had a con-artist of a sister who paid people to lie for her about her whereabouts and things like that, but he tried and that was enough for her because it showed that he loved her and cared.
but things changed once again when she turned 16, her own brother catching her trying to steal clothes from the store. needless to say, he was probably a little more harsh on her than he should have been given that it was his sister.. he put her in a cell for a good three weeks, probation after that and that was when she started to dislike him and his life choices.
after her probation was over, she knew she needed to get out, go somewhere where no one knew her name, no one knew what happened to her parents nor the ties she now had with the same mafia that got her parents killed. so she made the choice to move to canada. she’d seen articles on it and fell in love so she figured why not?
shortly after that, she found out that she could do dangerous things for a living and basically tried to do anything and everything she could to make sure she got a job as a stunt double.. which she loves more than life and for the first time in her life she feels whole.. safe and completely free.
this however, doesn’t mean that she still doesn’t have some con-artist in her blood because she does, however, she tries to avoid that side of her because she doesn’t want things to end up like they did for her parents.

while teagan is sarcastic and blunt, she’s always extremely outgoing and charming when she wants to be.
