Mike and I went to the College Basketball Experience today. It was more interactive than I thought but we had fun. I learned that I have a poor vertical, my wingspan is mediocre, @shaq has some rather large feet, and I got to see a "baby" @stephencurry30 . (at The College Basketball Experience)

#transformationtuesday on a Monday: I'm shouting it from the mountain top...51.2 pounds in 5 months!!! Please allow me to share my story. I have struggled with my weight my entire adult life. I’m talking from junior high all the way to now. I have tried numerous other “diets” and they worked for a while but all motivation to maintain them quickly went out the door. Things were never matched up. Since moving to KC…I have tried and failed numerous times and been plagued with numerous injuries. Again, things just never matched up. Five months ago I went to the doctor and upon seeing the number on the scale I began to freak out. I had never seen that number and I don’t ever want to again. It was around this time that @makeyourmark_fit and I began to follow each other on Instagram thanks to @nxtlevel45 and @angrycops (how @angrycops is involved is a different story for a different time). A few days after the doctors appointment I posted on Instagram my curiosity about macros and Mark responded. I spoke with him a few times and decided to take the leap in to the macro world. I have to admit that I was very skeptical of this working since I have tried so many things before and they didn’t work. Five months and 51.2 pounds later I think it’s safe to say that it is working. I wouldn’t be where I’m at right now if I didn’t have Mark's guidance with macros and workouts and support, as well as Mikes, family, friends, and my fit fam (which fit in to the friends category too). I also wouldn’t be prepared for the road ahead. Because I’ll say this now, this battle I’m in? Its not over until I say it’s over! I entered this storm a different person…I can not wait to see the person who comes out on the other side!
