Creations who them, themselves,

did not know what love meant

I used to search for validation from beings who

Couldn’t even validate themselves

Until It dawned on me that I was put on this earth

by the creator

Who painted the sky

Layers and layers of them

Hung diamonds

For us to see at night

Who allowed the mountains to rise

Because the plates underneath folded and improvised

Who let the oceans flow

And sweep our sorrows goodbye

All this beauty

why do I turn to the beings

who are just as confused as me

When the creator of all exists

zindagi ke parche ke

sab sawaal laazim hain sab sawaal mushkil hain !

be nigaah aankhon se dekhta hoon parche ko

be khayali haathon se

an banay se lafzo per ungliyan ghumata hoon

haashiye lagata hoon

daaiyre banata hoon

ya sawaal naame ko

dekhta hi jaata hoon ..
