“Roughly 14 days. So…Two weeks? Honda-chan, did you forget?”

❝ H M M – so it really was a fever, huh … ❞ she hums out her thought, still unfazed on how preoccupied tohru’s mind has been ever since she was found; even more unfazed for how long her own presence, standing by her side, still never has been acknowledged - ( with that girl’s mind up in the clouds, as usual ) - !! there was a stark contrast of arisa’s fiery and untamed demeanor – as careful fingertips work on the strands of her hair, brushing them to one side before a palm carefully reaches and rests on her dear friend’s forehead, enough to feel her feverish warmth. ❝ ‘lright. it’s not as bad as i thought it’d be. guess some medicine and rest outta do it – ❞ a sigh of relief, but the sense of worry was still evident  ❝ – but i’m glad that those grown ups actually have the brains in sendin’ ya back home. ❞

❝ TELL ME, TOHRU - no secrets.    have ya been gettin’ enough sleep lately – ?    eaten’ breakfast – ? pushin’ y’erself to it’s limits again – ? ❞

   “ EEP--! u-uo-chan how long have you been there? “ it was clear as day that tohru was not herself today. the fever was most definitely taking priority over everything else and thus her senses were dulled all save for touch which she was much more sensitive than normal. the cool feeling of her friend’s hand against her burning forehead was much like a relief. she most definitely needed to have a cooling pad. maybe the sohmas had some laying around the house...

IT’S HARD TO BE IN A BAD MOOD when alone with the ever - bright tohru . hanajima isn’t incredibly PLEASED to be stuck with cleaning duty , even if it is an INEVITABILITY , but she can’t find it in herself to feel truly perturbed . after all , tohru is SMILING .

“ it is , ” hanajima answers with a rare SMILE . “ do you have any plans , when you’re done here ? ”

   THE warm smile worn on her lips only widened even more when seeing the rare smile form on her friend’s lips. hanajima was one to not smile often so whenever such an expression graced her features tohru couldn’t help but feel warm and fuzzy inside. to be able to see her friend happy was what meant most to her.
