I am CONVINCED a large chunk of the album is about them getting fucked over by d*nny elfm*n. From the dude mentioned in ILWC threatening Awsten over the phone, to the prowler dialogue near the end (which I’m assuming is probably voiced by elfm*n), and him voicing the devil throughout. Awsten has mentioned Mark Hoppus’ verse a lot online and in a lot of interviews, as well as some other features from Dillon Francis, but besides the initial album announcement he’s basically been silent about elfm*n. It also makes the armed robbery from the prowler tour make more sense bc the perpetrators have to have been paid a lot/by someone high profile if they wouldn’t confess who hired them from PRISON.
