Start of week 4 and the start of a new circuit
Three weeks ago I ended my running career. I had no want to continue running but I did want to stay in shape. I decided to take up lifting with our throws coaches for a change in scenery. I still have the distance runner body but I do think I have started to put on muscle with lifting four days a week. Last Monday May 18, the start of my second week of lifting. This week I had to change my days a little because I went to surprise Matt at Nationals. Monday and Tuesday were normal but I did Friday’s workout Wednesday and Thursday’s workout Sunday. I ran on Monday and yesterday I warmed up on bike for 10 min and cooled down on treadmill for 10min.
Started focusing on lifting May 11, 2015. These are my starting off pics. This past week has consisted of not being able to move or perform bodily functions (sneezing, coughing, laughing) comfortably. To the point where I have almost resulted to walking downstairs backwards and had to “plop” onto the toilet. I didn’t even make it a week without running and I ran on Wednesday hoping to get some blood flowing through my very sore legs and almost cried when I had to make a sudden move to avoid a snake. I didn’t do anything Saturday and then ran again Sunday with Monday: arms, Tuesday: legs, Thursday: legs, and Friday: arms/circuits. Haven’t implemented a diet. Just focusing on staying fit another way other than just running.
