And Sacrifice is just a pretty word for losing.

It's 2023. We can all admit fandom revolves heavily around shipping and therefore communities that revolve around fandom, in turn, will be into shipping. And that's great! It's always good to write different dynamics with your muses and getting excited when your writing partner creates ship content.

However, please understand that romantic shipping isn't what everyone in the RPC is looking for. Please consider people who;

Write child muses

Don't enjoy writing romance and/or smut

Don't ship with people outside of close friends

The mun and/or muses are simply not interested in romance

etc. etc. ...

Shipping shouldn't be your primary end goal when writing with people in the RPC. It's just as if somebody wrote nothing but fluff or angst. Like any genre of writing, for people who don't enjoy or are even uncomfortable with writing that, it kinda sucks when people frame them as 'ghosting' or 'uncaring' about their partners on the basis that they don't engage with shipping the same way others do.

well, now you know! long story much shorter than i usually tell it, but i've run through all the charities in my area and no one wants to help me out since i don't have any kids! i can't qualify for a traditional loan or i would have taken it already! i don't have anyone who could take me in if i lost my apartment and my big city has no shelter space! i also really need stability so i can do things like hold a job down and get my life back in order and go to therapy and medical appointments! i have surgery in october and dang, it's even my birthday soon!

𝚌𝚊𝚜𝚎.     muse a is a detective and muse b is the criminal they're after. it's a long game of cat and mouse until they finally have them cornered. things get complicated when for whatever reason, they can't bring themselves to make the arrest. something about the criminal makes them weak, makes them want to cave in and help them escape.

𝚏𝚊𝚗.     muse a has always had a crush on muse b, who happens to open up an onlyfans account. they start watching the videos, saving all of the pics, tuning into every single livestream. soon enough they're the biggest tipper and muse b decides to meet up in person with them to fuck their biggest fan. when they actually meet face to face and notice who the other is, will they both be able to go through with it?

𝚍𝚎𝚋𝚝.     muse a is owed a large debt by muse b's father. instead of finding the money, they decide to offer muse b up as a large sum to get the debt paid off. there's no conditions and muse a is able to use the other however they please for however long they want.

𝚋𝚞𝚜.     muse a and muse b are taking the same bus/train/public transport together. one of them finds the other incredibly attractive and decides to go for it right then and there. they don't care how packed it is, they're sliding their hand up the other's thighs and already decided they're going to orgasm before their stop.

𝚜𝚎𝚎𝚍.     muse a is a monster/alien/creature and they sought out muse b with one thing in mind: breeding. they want to see if a hybrid can be made in between the two of them. honestly, whether or not anatomy allows muse b to get pregnant doesn't matter to muse a. that just means that they're going to keep on trying until they find their next target.

𝚑𝚒𝚍𝚍𝚎𝚗.     muse a and muse b are at the same halloween/masquerade party. one thing led to another and they went somewhere to get intimate. when their masks come off in the middle of the act, they realize that for whatever reason they should not be having sex (whether it's cheating or something taboo). do they decide to keep going and ignore their connection or is it too much to handle?

𝚎𝚡𝚊𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗.     muse a is muse b’s doctor/coach and they perform monthly physicals to make sure everything is in order. recently someone made a comment on muse b's good look and how they'd pay good money to get a chance at sleeping with them. muse a took that chance to push the examination farther than ever before, going as far as to breed their holes to see how much they can take. then they'd sell them off to the highest bidder.

𝚊𝚞𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗.     someone throws a party every now and then where people are put up for sale. some of them are hired for pleasure. these select few are put on stands throughout the house and are put in skimpy outfits. spreader bars or workers are around to make sure to put all of their holes on display. muse a goes to said auction with a group of friends and muse b, who is up for sale, catches their eye. they test drive the product before even making a bid, wanting to make sure they're buying the best toy around.

𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚑𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚍.     muse a's family owns a ranch, but they're quite raunchy and not at all professional. one of their common behaviors is fucking their works out in the open around their land. muse b is the one currently getting this attention, being felt up throughout the day and pulled away from their work.

𝚌𝚘𝚛𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚎.     muse a works or owns a white collar business. one of the initiatives implemented by the organization recently is having workers that are used for sex. day to day they're a part of the business, but everyone working in the company has a right to use them to get off before, after, or even during a meeting. hell, even the janitor can use them up before cleaning up for the day.

𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔𝚎𝚛.     muse a has been stalking muse b for a while now. they can either know each other or not, but the point is that muse a can't get them out of their head. one of the things they noticed is that muse b frequents a bath house/glory hole at the end of every month. since they never know who is behind the wall, muse a uses that to their advantage and has their way with muse b. they might even go as far as to kidnap them after they have a taste.

𝚋𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚖𝚊𝚒𝚕.     muse a is holding something over muse b’s head. at first this was just used to get small favors, but those favors quickly turned sexual. for whatever reason, this information can't get out. muse a has them wrapped around their head and they're enjoying having the cards on their end of things for once. 

𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚝.     muse a is a supernatural creature and muse b is either human or another creature. one night muse b is wandering in the woods and they come across muse a at their most powerful. sadly for them, with power also comes arousal. they have their way with them right then and there. 

𝚑𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛.     muse a is a supernatural hunter or bounty hunter and muse b’s is their newest target. one thing led to another and they couldn't go through with the killing because of how aroused they were. instead, they kidnapped muse b or had their way with them right there during the hunt. 

just because your muse is the hero, it doesn’t mean they will always succeed. it doesn’t mean they have the right to jump at the villain’s throat everytime, or that they can belittle them for their losses. if the hero fights the villain, they should be ready to lose every now and then, making sure their antagonist doesn’t become stale, or stops being seen as a possible real threat

just because your muse is the villain, it doesn’t mean they have the right to hurt anyone they want. if they go out of their way to threaten the hero’s loved ones or even start fighting, they must expect a response. if the villain fights the hero, they should be ready to find a compromise and accept losses as well to avoid a cycle of violence without payback

just because your muse is powerful and have the power of god, destiny, money, or anything else in their arsenal, it doesn’t mean they can do whatever they want and step back whenever it’s time to pay the price for their actions, good or bad as they could be. the only plot armor we’re allowed to have is the promise to not kill eachother’s muse, or leave permanent wounds unprompted.  if your muse insults someone more powerful than them, they will get punished. if your muse hurts someone dear to someone else, they will eventually pay their price. if your muse does nothing but win by default or always finds way to avoid consequences, eventually every possible plot or threat will become stale.
