#two-toned ink <- My first Splatoon Hero Mode story; with my OCs Tawa & Ikari! being just a reliving of very nostalgic Splatoon 1 days, with the main ship featuring IkaTako/Rival3. It's very light-hearted and just for fun without a serious story!
#ink-stained hands <- My take on 'modern' Hero Mode AUs and OCs where they have more serious takes of characters such as Agent 3, this one will have a more proper story is generally more darker which branches out to Splatoon 2 and OE unlike Two-Toned Ink which is contained to Splatoon 1
neither of these are connected! think of them like AUs.

About me?
I am someone originating from Asia (so my english might not be best at times) , when it comes to Splatoon i have been invested since the start of the first game's lifespan, having been gifted an Wii U that had Splatoon 1 on it.
My love for the game has been present ever since then, I would draw it non-stop everyday.. I struggled a lot with keeping OCs that had myself invested, but Splatoon is where I found my passion with making fandom-related OCs.
As for what i love? I've collected a few blinkies to show a list of favourites of mine, I really love colorful things I can't just do a normal list haha..
So you will most likely see these things from my interest, i lean very heavily to a more ''nostalgic" feeling I have with Splatoon's fandom eras, which you can see from my story with Ikari & Tawa. This will primarily be a S1 and S2/OE centered blog.. I do have all 3 games but I haven't yet warmed up to Splatoon 3 oddly enough..

Lowsquidenually which oc would you even use for a profile
If i can be very open and honest and emotional for a moment, in a very perfect and delusioned world I would love to share a profile of 2 halves where I have Ikari & my lover has Tawa.
They are 2 of a good rare few very deeply precious OCs to me.. even if newcomers might not be aware of what content of them existed both before and after their rewrite and my slower pace due to physical issues of not getting out artworks quickly.. I feel very attached to them because they are a part of myself and my darling, their designs and concepts spawned from a very vivid dream(s..?) I once had about suddenly finding myself in the body of a Inkling.. to which I chased that idea it must be some sort of life that must have existed. As i met with a Rival Octoling that I still recongized as being someone close to me as a lover..
Even the backstory, somewhat of it was already occured in that dream such as Ikari being Agent 3 and the color of her ink.
It may sound like a lie, sure.. what kind of dream is that? but giving them this extension of life is the happiest I have been.
I hope they get married someday, if i could ever give them that just as much as i wish to also be..
despite the octoling profile, i am actually more in-line with inkling.. it's just i adore rival & sanitized octolings over player octoling...;;
i would change it but admittidly nothing clicks or fits as nicely, I know that my fiance has access to gmod & sfm & blender but I think her making a profile for me of my OC would be stretching it ^^;

Still thinking about this one but I do actually feel a connection to Marina Ida so there's that. I think we have a few things in common but I gotta think more on iiiit.
This one might be a bit out there but I actually really like Octavio so much that I get troubled hearing voice acting attempts that don't land right. I don't know if it's a kin, relation, or just a heavy admiration and love for the character, but I really like Octavio!!,, I'm still mad he's become somewhat one dimensional after Splatoon 1's story mode.

this comic page genuinely messes me up so bad because kaori gets so justifiably pissed, somehow her just going "HEY, NOW?!" in bewilderment and shock and frustration is the funniest reaction i've seen

Well on the topic of it, continuing from the last post embarassingly; I would say aside from Callie it would also be Pearl Houzoki.. but i don't have the heart yet to say why , I don't want to be laughed at!!
another would be Agent 3 (specifically splatoon 1) this one is personal as I just simply feel such a big emotion to the world of Splatoon 1 that feels so disconnected from it's sequels.. it's such a new and fresh world with characters and concepts never seen before and just the general vibe of the first game is unmatched to the 2nd and 3rd game..
I want to say more but i will be bought to tears over nostalgia, that's why it's so nice to have tawa and ikari, which I have some trivia about how and why they were made that I haven't revealed but that is a secret! ^_^
As for how I feel about Callie in specifc, I would say i resonate the most with feeling of pre-hero mode & post-hero mode of Splatoon 2 (especially HypnoCallie) I feel I could say alot about this, but it would be too privy about medical information which is unneeded.... but honestly I already made a two post that I feel could be my magnum opus about it.
which of this are simply relating or really see it as another piece of me? that's your job to find out!
hmn.. as for promotional design ,while not asked I would say these 2 being laura & kaori.
kaori comes second because you could argue she is just a baby agent 3 before taking the job considering some art book comics..

.. i want to confess something a bit embarassing; i never was really fond of jokes about pearl's height or her appearance
i was someone who was very short even by asia standards and still am due to health complications with diets and growth..
so i really really loved pearl when splatoon2 was first revealed but everyone was pretty cruel about it, i'd say even now as an adult she's quite accurate to my appearance, thankfully i am eating more well..^^;

this was the marina drawing in question.. im sorry it looks very bad as it was done in whiteboardfox and is generally just my first drawing in almost a decade of ever drawing her..
the only thing that bothers me is i don't know how to draw the headphones or the uniform very well;; i tried to only draw from 1 reference..
