Internet, meet Penny (aka Penelope). We adopted her from @newcollarco in March. I’ve been hesitant to post because we are still desperately missing our baby, Mandy, and I didn’t want people to think we had “moved on”. We adopted Penny as our third cat and we’re very much looking forward to her and Mandy meeting when we’re finally able to bring her home. In the meantime, Penny has brought some much needed laughs back into our lives. We spent #MothersDay weekend with my parents and their new #rescue #dog, Hero ❤️ Hero spent the first three years of his life in a research lab where he was deprived of food, never allowed to see the outdoors, and experienced countless other traumas we can’t even begin to imagine.
