is akame ga kill zero worth buying? i wanna read it but i'm worried it's gonna ruin the story we got so far.

today i am thinking about how tatsumi had strong faith in the church/religion in general but slowly lost that faith bc his friends kept dying... tatsumi religious trauma methinks

one of the things i love about akame ga kill is that the moral of the show is literally to stand up for what's right and fight for those who are being oppressed. not only can this be connected to the real world as of now but it's also something you don't see very often in anime or media in general. it's such a powerful statement especially considering the time it came out and it's so intresting to see the way it's portrayed.
