so ive been trying to play lamento and i keep on running into the same problem and ive tried everything i can think of. it runs fine right up until there's a choice, and then after ive made a choice the text just??? disappears??? no matter how many times i reload it, opening and closing the game etc, the dialogue box is just gone. ive tried downloading it from 2 different sources and had the same problem with both. if anyone has any ideas abt whats happening and could lmk ur help would be truly appreciated :)))

stealing a reblog out of sympathy, because a friend of mine is experiencing the exact same problem— and while we did somehow fix the game for a time after reinstalling it fresh (as I mentioned somewhere in comments—) it went and broke again a while ago, and since our current goal is seeing the more detailed ending you get for completing all three routes— we’d really like to avoid starting all over if possible XP

so if any added help could be provided, for myself/my friend, or op— then we’d all be grateful I’m sure hhhh

In terms of irl crap that I’m dealing with right now, chances are— I’m gonna have to move sometime in the near future 🙃 (assuming that recent stuff that was getting talked about hasn’t changed, that is—)

which also means finding the time and a way to pack up all the stuff in here, none of which I’m looking forward to fffff—

hell, packing is something that probably should’ve already been started on… but whatever— (gonna go eat something, then maybe see if I can sleep—)

was looking at my bookshelf earlier, to put back a manga volume I’m not reading atm— and just realized that I’ve somehow misplaced the next volume in that series???

no idea where I could’ve put it either… but hopefully it’s just lost in the pile of stuff on my couch— (and not crumpled up terribly hhhh), or something like that— because I really don’t wanna find out that I’ve lost it somewhere 😖
