No but I can imagine him doing this if he finds out you have detention so he can join you?

Like, he’s one of the top students, never gets in trouble, is respected by every teacher and peer, but when he hears you’re in trouble his reputation just goes out the window

He knows he can’t do anything completely out of character but passing notes won’t really stain his record or anything, so he makes it as obvious as possible when he’s giving the note to you.

You’re already in detention tonight anyway, so the scolding from the teacher wasn’t a surprise but albedo? Everyone is shocked, including you.

He has this subtle smug smirk on his face ( you know, that one) while he’s sitting next to you because his plan worked n now you’re not alone in detention <3 definitely holds your hand under the desk the whole way through while you’re both ‘working’
