“Do you like him?” My best friend once asked me.

“Sometimes”, I said.

“Sometimes?”

“Yes, sometimes.”

Because sometimes he looks so beautiful with that smile plastered on his lips and I can’t help but fall for him.

And sometimes he goes away but I don’t miss him.

Sometimes he fills my mind, sometimes he’s nowhere in my thoughts.

Because sometimes he fills my chest with flowers when he talks to me.

But sometimes I go the other way around to avoid him.

Sometimes I like him, sometimes I don’t want to see him, sometimes I don’t even think about him.

“But I hate him most of the times.”

“Hate? There is no way you hate him with those heart eyes you’re wearing when you look at him.”

I laughed.

“I hate him, because no one else can hurt me as much as he does.”

Because my dearest friend, I can even still feel the throbbing pain in my chest when he told me you are the one he liked.
