Let’s just break this down. I used to not understand Hufflepuff, I had wanted to get into the ever elusive Ravenclaw. Curious though since I was just bored. I got on and did the Pottermore.com test.

So, what are some of the awesome things that are only for Puffs?
Our Motto Of course is the first thing:
Hufflepuffs are always picked on for not being very brave. But take it from J.K herself, she think’s they are pretty awesome.
Hee-hee, I think all houses are awesome but this made me SUPER Proud. Don’t know about you!
Hufflepuffs are humble:
I think this is due to the fact that we just don’t care to get into a “My house is better than you’re house” mess with Gryffindor. We prefer to chill in the background with popcorn and have fun. We just don’t have time to waste when we can be having fun.
A reason J.K had stated she had not chosen the Bear which was the original mascot of Hufflepuffs, was that bears cared too much. Badgers? Nope, they just don’t have the time to waste.
Hufflepuffs are usually quite smart, artistic, or they have special talents. However they don’t overly brag, they are proud to be sure, but they never flaunt it- especially if it’s going to hurt another person’s feelings, we’d much rather let someone else shine in our stead if it makes them feel better.
Hufflepuff’s Common Room is near the Kitchens:
Which means one thing: FOOD! I know a lot of people joke that Hufflepuffs only care about food, but what comes with food?

Helga Hufflepuff
Helga was a very kind person, she “Took the lot and treated them the same.” Everyone was welcome to Hufflepuff! Whether they were Muggle or Pure. This created a sense of family between our fellow Puffians that I believe everyone feels once they really get to know the Harry Potter Fandom and Hufflepuffs.
Just like Helga herself, we strive to keep our Hufflepuff name strong and love and be just.
House Bullying:
I consider this a BIG NO NO. So don’t let me catch you guys being mean to anyone and vice versa. Coming from a SlytherPuff relationship, I get poked a lot because I am the lonely Hufflepuff. But when I told my Nana she said “What a perfect House for you! Right where you belong!”
Remember who your mascot is. A badger.

Remember that just because we are Hufflepuff, doesn’t mean we CANT or DONT get angry. I’m sure Helga was pretty scary pissed off. Don’t ever feel you’re Less Puffy because you got angry or felt anger to someone and didn’t keep to the creed.

Where they are Just and Loyal.
Never said “Where they get stomped on by everyone else.” AND remember that our House stayed. Out of EVERYONE our House stayed and defended Hogwarts.
