🌊Washing Away Bad Habits Spell🌊
A spell to break habits (specifically biting or tearing at nails, but it could be altered to fit your needs). Be kind, this is my first written spell, but feedback and advice is appreciated!
🌸White candle (purification)
🌸Fennel (protection against returning to old ways and purifying yourself of the incessancy and desire)
🌸Milk (purity and self-nourishment)
🌸Optional, (clear) nail polish
💫Depending on your beliefs, evoke deities, cast circles etc and light your candle (and incense if you want.)
💫Meditate on why you need to break the habit, how you’ll help it mundanely, why you’re currently doing it.
💫Pour a reasonable amount of water into the bowl, add a dash of milk and sprinkle in the herbs.
💫Place you hands in the bowl and begin to wash them in the solution (effectively ‘washing yourself clean of past ways’) as you speak the following or your own interpretation:
“Cleanse these hands with water so pure, and rid them of harmful desire”
💫Pass your hands over the white candles and speak:
“Let burn the ways of old and found temptation, let burn with cleansing fire”
💫Dry your hands and optionally paint your nails while meditating on your purpose. Then close the rite as you wish.
