MeasureCamp
Measurecamp is the Glastonbury of web analytics, in that it's virtually impossible to get a ticket and it takes place on a weekend.Â
Here are some of my thoughts after Saturday's MeasureCamp 5, in no particular order.
Ugly Vegetables & The Eye of the Beholder
What a clever idea this is: a French supermarket takes the ugly rejects of the fruit & veg aisles and gives them a gorgeously packaged makeover. Et voila! Suddenly shoppers are clamouring to eat food that would once have been destined for landfill.
Of course, dressing up the unseemly produce in pretty packaging doesn't go very far to solving the underlying problem - that we consumers have been conditioned over the years to be far too picky about our fruit and vegetables. And by who? Ah yes...the supermarkets.
