Chicago has some nerve.  Their constant failures after imposing Democratic solutions really harm the party’s image.  Oh, and I guess dwellers get hurt, too.  But let’s focus on what’s important, namely meddling that should totally make food obtainable.  Sure, everything you’d put in your cart disappeared.  But the same thing would eventually happen following dining if you had ingredients to make meals, so use your imagination to provide energy.

A pickle spear on a hot dog is no reason to go hungry.  Chicagoans’ inability to consume energy has nothing to do with its questionable culinary tastes.  Food stamps for a grocer didn’t save Save A Lot.   Vacant locations result despite government paying to buy nothing.  The city’s wasteful grocery budget has nothing to do with who funds their allowance.

Who needs Ozempic when you have Democrats?  News outlets helpfully lie on behalf of politicians keeping readers underweight.  The failed scheme was city-funded according to the Chicago Sun-Times, which as a reminder means it’s taxpayer-funded.  The suck-up rag seems to be angling for similar bankrolling mandates, as readers just don’t buy biased newspapers these days.

Leftists thinking government money is free, so food should be the same.  Greedy capitalists want you malnourished, unlike in glorious cooperatives where you can have all the rice in your bowl.  Loyal comrades may possibly obtain the food-holding gadget if fortune works in their favor.

A business model based on taking from earners to permanently subsidize people kept in poverty is as sustainable as you’d think.  Relying on customers receiving a handout is bankrupting in every sense.

It’s difficult to blame Republicans in the city where that party may as well be illegal.  Unlike trying to stop alcohol bootlegging in Al Capone’s town, the prohibition worked.  But accomplices blame bystanders for crime.

Cutting off welfare for supermarkets means a chance for self-reliance that naturally won’t be taken.  Blaming SNAP cuts is cheering for recipients to stay on benefits, which doesn’t sound too beneficial.  The first letter stands for supplemental in case anyone forgot or never learned.

It’s uncanny how draining the economy in order to allegedly assist doesn’t spur prosperity.  One might think the ultimate goal of helping fund groceries is to get participants off the program.  Blue City mayors instead act like drug dealers who want to keep junkies hooked.  A metropolis where residents can afford their own groceries is one that doesn’t rely on elected Democratic despots, which is a way bigger nightmare than not being able to find cereal for sale in one’s ZIP code.

The worst thing for leftists is getting what they want.  Genies always teach cruel lessons to fools.  Trying their beliefs leads to disliking the results.  Left-wing economics mean no place to buy food. What next: gun control enables criminals?

The results are in.  Unlike the deceased voting in aldermen, there’s no way to alter them.  Chicago is known as the place with America’s strictest gun laws, which logically means it’s the safest place.  Those trapped within city limits are already accustomed to bloody sidewalks, and an occurrence that should be alarming is currently competing for attention with even more abandoned storefronts than usual.

It’s important to never learn from trifling things like examples.  You don’t want mean conservatives to be right about government causing problems it claims to solve.  Punishing success just a little more will make glorious carrots affordable for loyal subjects.

It must be a lack of support that ruined governmental meddling.  Ceaseless handouts could never have inflicted financial devastation in the first place.  And there’s no way the lack of income drove their food peddlers out of business.  Democrats not only think getting a job is impossible but project uselessness on those suffering under their reign.

A bad example inspires the worst mayors.   People’s Republic of New York Caudillo Zohran Mamdani sees subsidized supermarkets closing and thinks the problem is they didn’t go far enough.  Full city ownership is the bold step not taken by meek subsidizers.  The cold cases are behind the iron curtain.

Get in line now.  You want your patriotic bread ration, don’t you?  Queueing up for a chance to obtain a potato provides the full Soviet experience.  Awful idiots in 2026 enjoying the benefits of being Americans think that’s an apex.

The one thing we know about socialists is that everything they promise happens.  I’m sure the 30 percent discount promised by Mamdani will come true.  After all, the chairman can force taxpayers to fund it.  That coupon surely never expires.

Voting to make one’s hometown lame is one way to keep rents down.  But it may be cooler to let everyone thrive.  Chicago is another great American metropolis that is rendered less so by voters.  Electing to go with policies that keep Windy City citizens from ever getting the chance to support themselves only sounds easy until trying to hitchhike with groceries purchased by the new home of the Bears in Indiana.
