With GameInformer’s coverage of Forsaken came inspiration. One of the eight Barons, Yaviks, is a Pike gang leader and a terror in the asteroid belt: “She breathes nihilism and breeds anarchy.”

Yaviks description made me think of Yanki, Japanese punk school girls who are known to ride custom motorcycles. Since Yaviks is a gang leader, I wondered, what would her gang look like? With this thought and the image of punk school kids in my mind, I started sketching.

As I started adding details to the one in the foreground, I tossed the House Judgement sigil on her face mask just for kicks. Then another idea started taking hold.

In the Red War, all Eliksni joined under a single House, the House of Dusk. But what if a group of upstart teens decided to take up the discarded banners for themselves?

These four girls HAVE NO HOUSE, KNEEL BEFORE NO BANNER, OWE ALLEGIANCE TO NO KELL. They are their own Houses, discarding whatever life and name they had before. 

Judgement (green, House of Judgement/Exile): Co-commander of sorts. Constantly judging others and enjoys making a big deal about it. Fierce, holds strong beliefs, violently defends her friends. Often gets in fights with Queen. 

Queen (yellow, House of Kings): Though wearing the banner of House of Kings, she makes sure everyone knows her as the Queen she is. Always the center of attention, she makes her own rules, though she has been known to change them on the fly, something that really gets on Judgement’s nerves. The others follow her orders when it’s convenient for them, or if they’re bored. Always scheming trouble for the group to get into. Her plans often involve fun mischief, which the others gladly go along with.

Devils (red, House of Devils): The largest of the group, Devils is a brawler, quick to anger, and often makes rash decisions. She has a huge crush on Winter, though she gets easily flustered and is not great at showing her affection.
