There's a lot of color symbolism in this animation I made and i wanna ramble about them and explain why colors are this and that!!!

Also this can be viewed as Strattland or not. But I think we can all agree that they are both doomed :)) met each other at the wrong place, wrong time, for eternity

- Beginning of the video reference the blast scene in the movie where Stratt and Grace are running to the explosion. But for some reason when we switch to Grace, he runs the opposite way and it the same yellow color in the "put the not in the astronaut!" scene

That wasn't Grace running with Stratt, that was him being chased :((

- puppet strings being a very bright red references the patrova line, and how both of them are sort of entangled with it since it quite literally changed their lives

- Stratt attempting to cut those puppet strings because in my personal belief, under all of the brutality, she didn't want to make that sacrifice

- "Maybe you still think of us." Grace saying that because I LOVEEEEEEEE the concept of Grace haunting Eva Stratt after the launch (not specifically in a ghostly way but more like hallucinations, guilty thoughts etc).

Also Grace changing color into red represents the fact that he's doomed to be on the mission (red patrova line). And the string around his neck turns blue, Eva's color- meaning that she forced this fate upon him and Grace will forever be tainted by her.

- very last scene, yes it is the cuptoast tomtord reference yes.

- very last scene we see Stratt with Grace's main yellow color. Just like the blue string on Grace in the previous part- Stratt gets Grace's yellow because once again, Grace wil never ever leave her life, no matter how long or how far she runs :)) we can still see the red strings tied to her fingers!!

Human Rocky's dialogue here: But I will hunt everyone down if someone even dares attempt to touch Grace in his sleep.

That dialogue was very inspired by @tineyincubus 's backstory for their Eridian Grace!! Where he was still forced onto the mission, but instead of drugging- they fr just brought him on board in his sleep.

I'd like to think after Human Rocky learns about this- when they got to Earth, despite being on the verge of dying- he'd threatened every single person he meets in whatever facility he gets taken to- to not EVER leave Eridian Grace alone with any type of scientist. Human Rocky absolutely NEEDS to make sure nobody is experimenting on his best friend- ESPECIALLY when they find out Grace can not wake himself up like Humans

I also feel like Human Adrian would also act as a body guard despite not really knowing the full story and still processing that the love of their life came back from the dead and aliens exist- once they see Eridian Grace in his big old hamster ball and utter out small worried chirps while pointing at a sleeping sick Rocky- Human Adrian absolutely gives in and everybody else will have to go through an entire ahh interrogation if ever they want to communicate with Eridian Grace

I love it when people expand on the world building of erid and Eridian culture, so I decided to add some of my own stuff!!

He was here. Standing on his two feet. He was panting. On the same floor, breathing the same air. Avery.

And Derek hears something he couldn't: earth shattering screams that did not sound human coming from the eye behind its vessel.

"I can fix this," Avery's word shook, he was taking a few steps back, both hands up slightly. He was hesitant, he did not know what he was doing, but all Derek knew was that Avery was just so selfless it hurts.

"I can fix this."

Derek sees one single timeline.

He's too late.

In which Derek gets out alive, losing his infinite knowledge, but at a cost. Avery, in his mind, battles against the king to take control of his mind back. His physical body is left to act as a vessel waiting for its host.
