There is still one last gift that hasn't yet been posted, but the recipient has been made aware and the poster is almost finished, so Everyone who participated should have received something, as all gifts are now in! Reminder that the collection never closes, so treats may be posted at any time!

Assignments have been sent out. To check yours, go to your AO3 dashboard and click on the "Assignment" tab on the sidebar.

Reminder: the deadline to post is December 26.

If you realize you might not make the deadline, please request an extension as soon as possible. If you need to unexpectedly drop out of the exchange, you can do so by clicking on the "Default" button below your assignment on your AO3 dashboard. We will then assign a pinch hitter to your recipient.

Hi! There's no dumb question, events can be a little confusing to navigate at first :)

You can make a different offer per fandom and list all the ships and characters you're willing to write for in that fandom. The primary criteria for matching are fandom and medium (art/fic), ships and characters then come into play to find the best one among the possible matches.

We require a minimum of two different requests and offers because people who only ask for (or offer) one thing can be really hard to match.

You will be matched to one single person, so only have to write one fic, even if you match on several of their prompts (you can choose which one to fulfill, and can even pick one you didn't initially offer if it inspires you).

Of course nothing's stopping you from writing more if you wish to, or even write stuff for people you didn't match with (you can consult all participants' prompts in the 'Requests Summary' tab). Those would be considered extra gifts and are typically called "Treats" in fandom exchanges. Treats are not bound by the deadline, only the main gift is (though if posted early, treats will only be revealed with the rest of the gifts on reveals day).

Be sure to nominate tags for the characters, platonic relationships, or groups you would like to request or create for. If the tag isn't nominated, you won't be able to use it when signing up.

Gen lovers will be pleased to see the return of Sweet Soda, a fic and art exchange that only allows gen works. Gen refers to works that are not focused on shipping; for example: character studies, platonic relationships, or world-building.

And of course, the 18+ free-for-all prompt fest Spicy Cocktail is back for its third year, this time with a special twist!

As usual, the prompting period will run from June 15 to July 15 and the filling period (where any prompt may be filled by anyone and as many times as desired) will be from July 1 until August 31. What's new this year is that the collections from 2021 and 2022 will be open for fills as well all summer long! Didn't manage to fill that one prompt that caught your eye before? Now's your chance!
