Wow! This is crazy isn’t it? 2 posts in one day?! What’s going on?

Well, I just felt this was something nice to share.

After that post I did earlier I felt discouraged. I sure mean all I said there, but it’s saddening to be a witness and not being able to do much... I mean, I try and do what I can to improve Delwund, but that’s no easy task at all.

But once I finished, I went to the temple. I was not there to listen to the Lecture or to pray, but to sing.

You see, I used to be like a year ago a member of the choir at a temple which is sort of close to my house. It’s not the closest one, but they had a group of young people that did activities for... Say, charity or praying or teaching children or stuff like that. Part of that group also belonged to the temple’s youth choir and I was there for around a year until they decided to move rehearsals for Fridays.

So a week ago, Ernand, the choir’s leader contacted me to invite me back to the choir. I have to admit I wasn’t sure about it because I already have a lot of stuff to do... But I decided to give it a shot and see what happened.

It’s also important to mention that today, Zea, Zmanne, Lberi and I decided to invest Fridays on planning our buisness aftre clases finished at 5 p.m., so I also knew I wouldn’t have time most likely to get to the rehearsals on time (8:00 p.m.)

Anyway, I decided to go at least today... I got a huge surprise.

When I got there, I saw no one at the meeting point outside the temple, but a member of the group (not the coir). He was there to recieve everyone who was going to the Bubilette mountain... I’ll try to explain real quick:

Once a year, around these days, there’s a national visit to the Bubilette mountain which is on a state of Loorphia called Fuanajeo. That visit is to listen to the lectura at the top of the mountain which has a temple I’ve heard to be beautiful (I’ve never gone there myself and I wanted to go this year but... Thesis)

So, almost everyone from the temple’s youth group was going to assist and today right at 8:00 p.m. was the sending Lecture. I spoke with the guy that was recieving everyone and he told me that the choir members were already inside the temple and that they were going to sing at the Lecture.

Since I was sort of sad, I decided to go inside and listen to it (I knew I wouldn’t be able to participate at the choir since I have not gone to rehearsals and such). So I went in and said hi to some people I knew, took my seat and waited.

Ernand arrived just when the lectura was about to begin and the choir started singing... I have to say, since last time I heard them, they have improved A LOT! No mistakes were made on the first song. No one was out of tune and no one was out of tempo. And I remembered there was this guy called Zdrien who was teeerrible at singing... He did good! Of course, they take classes on fridays as well with a really good singer.

I was inmersed on some thoughts on the Lecture when Zdrien came over to where I was and he said Ernand sent him for me to go to where the choir stood to, at least, listen and read the songs.

I felt ashamed, because Ernand is really strict on the fact that if you don’t rehearse, you can’t be with the choir on a Lecture.

They sang some songs I actually knew, so I sang along as well... They also put me up to the front even though I was REEEALLY ashamed. The songs I didn’t knew, I just read them and once I figured the tune, I sang... It was shameful for me to be at the front just reading and not singing, so I did my best to figure out the tune on just one verse so I could reproduce it later.

I noticed how much I needed that...

Once Lecture was over, Ernand talked with me for a while before getting organized for the departure. He said he really wanted me back because I had a good voice. He also asked me if I would be able to go on fridays. I was honest with him: I said I really wanted to and I would do my best, but I wasn’t sure if I could make it on time... I was thinking about what Zea and everyone had decided to do on fridays... I’ll have to beg them to allow me to leave at 7:30 because Ernand said he didn’t cared if I got there at 9:00 p.m. If he saw me there and everyone else as well, I could also rehearse on Sundays with them before Lecture and be back in the choir.

Then I just said bye to some old Friends from there and went out of the temple... I almost cried (I’m serious)... I almost cried on joy...

Everyone was so nice to me! Like nothing had happened! And... I don’t know how to describe this, but just the feeling of being with everyone singing to the Creator... And I didn’t even coughed once! I kept coughing and coughing the entire day and I didn’t coughed ONCE while SINGING nor at the entire Lecture!

I HAVE to get back to the choir... It’s something I deffinitely need to get involved on a friendly environment where everyone (or at least most people) preach love and detest hate.

OKOKOK. I have to go back to work, so I’ll just do this as fast as I can.

I’m so excited! And I just can’t hide it! (Sing along! That song Relión showed me the other day HAS to be popular on Earth!) Aaand that’s because I’m starting to register my animism thesis project into some art and animism festivals!

Now, the process to register on most art festivals is simple... Well, it would be easier if they moved along with the times, but... That’s what magic festivals are for. You basically need to write a summary on what your work is about and send it by mail to the art council for it to be sent to festivals. I have not sent it yet, but today on class we were asked to start writing our submision.

IT LOOKED SO AWESOME!

Just watching my name on it, followed by everyone else who participated on this project is so... Fulfilling. It looked so profesional! That’s how it’s going to look like when I perform it on stage!

Now, registration for animism or any other magical festivals is waaaay easier. You just need to get in touch by them with a stone OR contact them directly if you can handle telephonism... It’s weird though, because the receptionists MUST be exposed to mental attacks or intromissions, so I bet they are really skilled telepaths.

Going back to today’s experience... Looking at that paper made me want to finish my thesis sooner and better! I’ll do my best at it! I’m soooo motivated right now! And I really wanted to share this feeling with you guys, because... Everything is doing OK now. And I now I’ll be OK as long as I keep working.

I’ve been thinking lots of stuff (as usual), specially since I got to see lots of friends lately. But, even though I sometimes wish I had a girlfriend, for example, I really get to think it doesn’t matter when I’m doing this. I mean, sure, if I had a girlfriend I could tell her all this and we would both share happiness. But knowing that I’m happy with myself right now makes me think I don’t really need that. All I need is me, myself and I.

And that’s just an example of things that have been “troubling” me, but as I said, I don’t have much time since I still have to work on thesis for tomorrow... I’ll save those thoughts for another day.

I hope you all are doing good, guys, just as I am doing right now...

And just a tip: You don’t need for another person for you to feel complete. Actually... If you don’t feel complete on your own... You should work on that before getting a couple. Trust me, you’ll be happier that way.

Again, it’s hard to be alone with your little brother!

I’m actually tired! I have to take care of my brother while on job and while doing homework and... I’m REALLY tired.

You see, this past 2 days AND today I had to do everything. And I know there’s a lot of people who only sleep like 3 hours a day (which, honestly, I can’t get how they do that), but I’m used to sleep a bit more. I usually slept like 5:30 hours or so daily, but I also used to sleep while travelling which is around 3 hours total from my house to anywhere and back, so that helped me get my energy back.

But these days I’ve been sleeping only 5 hours without any sort of resting in between and even right now as I’m doing this, I feel like I should go to sleep. I have this feeling I’m out of my own body... Like I’m being a bit slow and clumsy... And while I like feeling that way, it also affects me.

For example, today at class, I had to stop and re-write parts of my notes because I either skipped letters or scrambled them. Instead of writing “lecture” I wrote “lectrue” and such.

I think the fact I got a bit sick on Tuesday also didn’t helped. My brother cooked the meet we would eat on Monday, but he didn’t cooked it enough, so I felt bad next day in the morning.

And also, yesterday. I’m getting home at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays because I have to stay and work with Dewlth until 9:00 p.m. I decided to stay a bit longer so there would be less people on the bubbles, but it didn’t turned out as expected. Since I hadn’t eaten much, I asked for my brother on my way home to make a soup... When I got here he hadn’t done anything and it was already 10 p.m. I was already tired and I just wanted to dinne and go to sleep...

Of course I couldn’t do that! I had to wash the meat fr the soup properly, prepare it and wait for 40 minutes so the meat would be well cooked; AND THEN dinne.

It’s been 3 hard days... I would have liked to make more progress on thesis, for example... And I also had to stop doing some of the normal things I do in order to make food, check out everything on the house was properly closed, and some other issues...

I’m certain it would have been easier with a little help from my brother OR by living closer to where we make our activities... I like where I live, but I’m starting to understand why my dad wanted to move for around 6 years (we never did, I don’t know why, though. My dad SERIOUSLY wanted that).

I’m sorry this was so short... I was also planning to tell a bit about monday, ‘cause stuff happened there, but as I said, I’m tired and you can see by how I’m thinking this that I’m not a hundred percent on my good mental point... Or so (I really hope you get what I mean).

Anyway, gotta keep working now!

Let me tell you about friday. That was a good day

Also, that was the reason I didn’t posted on Friday. I saw 3 friends of mine I’ve known since I was 9 or 10 years old: Zyz, Zeth and Fegges.

Let’s start with Zeth. First of all, Zeth is the Loorphian name for Zea. I think I’ve already talked about this, but just a reminder. That’s a really common name on Loorphia.

She also was part of the group of friends we had on high school: Resio, Ciago and Hevlezyz. She’s a vampire. Not a dhampire as Zea, but an actual vampire. As such, she was very refined tastes and also likes art (for some weird reason vampires are really keen on art). She’s... Not so intelligent though. She made some baaaad choices when we were on our last year of highschool which made her fail it.

She spent around year and a half not doing anything but painting until she decided to take a test that makes you pass highschool. She’s now studying art (per se), but she’s on her first year. Also, she’s supposed to be the oldest from our group of friends, but since she’s a vampire... She’s actually the youngest

Phisically... Well, she has all the attributes you would expect from a vampire. Pale skin, long teeth (which look funny when she laughs), slim, black long straight hair, red eyes, fine nose... Anyone could actually think of her as a good looking human girl... If it wasn’t for her eyes.

About Zyz. She’s a bugosu. That’s like... A satyr but less human... More greenish and with animal factions. She was one of the smartest girls back in highschool. BUT she always managed to get involved in physical damage somehow. She’d fall downstairs, she’d get hit by a ball, she’d fall down from a bench, she’s destroyed a good ammout of chairs. She’s injured her knees... She was that girl who seemed to have bad luck.

Right now she’s studying international relationships and she plans to be a Loorphian ambassador. She has the great potential to do so since she’s really smart!.

And last but not least Fegges. She’s an elf... Funny story, I was in love with her for the first 2 years of junior high... It seems elfs really have a charm on me. The thing is (and this is a frustrating story), I was THE ONLY ONE at the classroom who didn’t engaged on a relationship with her. I tried several times, but got rejected each and every single one (of course, I was her best friend ¬¬).

Not to be racist, but she’s not the usual elf. She has black long curly hair and her skin is not as white as most elfs. You can still see she has really refined features. Deep brown eyes with a bit of green on them. She has the longest eye lashes I’ve ever seen on anyone. And also, she’s not that tall.

Fegges wanted to be an actress... But her mom... She thought different so she made her study international commerce. She still acts on her spare time and she also told me she wanted to start learning alleth.

I hadn’t seen them for a looooong time! Well, I saw Fegges around 8 months ago, but Zyz and Zeth... Zeth it’s been almost 2 years since I last saw her and Zyz... ALMOST 4 YEARS!

What really amazed me is that it didn’t felt like that at all! We kept talking and talking for almost 4 hours straight at a restaurant. Talking about memories, things that are happening to us and the ones surrounding us, our future and also trying to guess who would be the one to get married first from junior highschool and stuff like that.

It’s funny, it’s weird and it’s exciting. They are a reminder that time does go by! We used to play together and now we’re all on University. Some of us about to graduate, some others not, but we’re starting to watch for our future: Jobs, plans, how and where to live, marriage... Back in the day we only worried about where we would reunite to talk and play once we entered highschool...

Man, time flies...

I’m really looking forward to see what will become of us in the future.

I also had an experience while walking to my dad’s restaurant on friday.

I finished school and I decided to go leave my things with my parents and work a bit on thesis before going with my friends. So I had to take the bubbles to the closest station to the restaurant.

The thing is, there’s no “close station” to the restaurant. So I had to walk for a while.

Now to understand my experience I have to talk a bit about how Loorphia’s city works. I live on a really nice city. To be honest, I love walking by it. Specially downtown and on the northern area, where I live.

Downtown is located on the central-northern area of the city. It’s supposed to be the most advanced and most populated area of the city. I’ve also Heard the south is a bit like that as well, but since I don’t normally go there, I have no idea.

From that point to the north, it starts getting less crowded, and it has less infrastructure on buildings and such. That’s what’s interesting. Most buildings from downtown are either big appartments or buildings or old buildings. Anyway, they’re mostly made out of interfered stone. This means they’re built by architects helped by alchemists who turn stone into more solid elements. But not only that. They can shape it in any form, so it’s easy to build them that way (remember: Alchemy is the magic of deconstruction and reconstruction of an ammout of mass or the intervention of it’s molecules to transform elements).

At the north, and on the limits of the city, where I live, you don’t see that much rock. Everything is more natural. For example, I live on a mountain, on the woods. But the tres from around here were carved and adapted, also by alchemists, to fit human life inside them... So yeah, I kind of live inside a tree. It has windows and all, but it’s still a tree.

So, the futher you are from downtown, the more nature you see and less rocks.

My dad’s restaurant is at the north, but not too far north. It’s not on the limits of the city, and it’s not on the northernmost part of the city. Despite that, it’s more to the north tan to downtown, so you can imagine it’s a mixture. It has rocks, some buildings, but it also has interfered nature as buildings.

So I was walking, and I passed through a really crowded area and then an area where there was almost no one. You could hear birds hoaming, your steps throug grass, and some distant human voices preparing food or some laughs... It was so relaxing!

I looked up to the sky at some point and, since it’s not like in my house where there’s too many tres to look clearly into the sky, I saw a giant mass of blue. It was astonishing. Such natural sounds, nothing too overwelming, almost complete silence if I stood still... And just looking at the sky.

That made me think of how little we are. Delwund is a huge place! And... We’re not even CLOSE to Earth! We are a tiny planet compered to the vast universo out there...

I’m going to leave on that note. I have some things to do still, but keep all this in mind, and I would suggest you to try that. I don’t know how it sounds like where you leave. But if you get some free time, try to look at the sky on a silent day... It’s such an experience...

Have you ever read something that ended up giving you a trully meaningful conversation about important things with someone?

Well, today that happened.

I’m Reading this book called “The sir of the flies” by Viler Fourie. It’s about how a bunch of kids get stuck in an island and have to try to survive. Civilized laws start to break down and it puts into questioning a lot of things.

So, as I was going to work with Inarji I asked him if he had read it. He said he had just watched a play about it (I had no idea it had a play), so he knew what the plot was about, but maybe the story was a bit different.

I have not finished the book yet, but a few days ago as I was reading I came across this thought: Why are politicians and buisnessman so rich, while people who actually WORK to bring us food (farmers, hunters and such) are most of the times poor? What does money even mean?

I talked about this with Inarji and he brought up something I had also thought about. There’s basic needs and “higher” needs on humans. The basic ones are sleeping, eating, going to the bathroom. All that stuff. The higher ones imply thinking about moral, spiritual life, logic and so on.

So, how did we came to the point where humans evolved to BE that way? And why do we have to behave in social life? Every single race has to be on some sort of “social life”, but if we’re evolving, theorically humans could be able to survive without the needs of another human. I mean, we already know too much. If resources were available for everyone, everyone could be on their own satisfying basic needs without any problem (and that’s where we get a branch of themes because there’s no unlimited resources for everyone to satisfy with).

Now, imagine every single hunter, farmer, etc. stopped working... We would not have someone to collect food for us! We would have to do that ourselves! They are the BASE of society because they satisfy the need to eat (or drink). Yet they don’t have that recognition.

And that leads to some more complex thoughts.

But what we talked about is how greed and egoism are the roots of an unbalanced economy. And it’s funny, to be honest. Humans are the only race that practice economy (at least here on Delwund), yet most people are under debt to something... Like... How did that happened?!

And it could all be reset if every single debt was forgiven.

Yet again, if some people could be willing to try that out, there would be people who refuse to that because of greed.

And we are the only ones who do that.

So, we have several problems that start up because of egoism. Egoism drives people to greed, envy, gluttony, even lust or insecurity! (I could talk A LOT about egoism since I have investigated plenty about it, but that would take forever).

Inarji gave me a good example about that. If a bird has a “2 floored” nest and there’s another bird close to it with only 50 sturdy sticks as a nest, they won’t fight over it because that’s what they NEED. And that’s what poverty is about. poverty is not misery. It’s having ONLY WHAT IS NEEDED.

So, we as humans are the only race who is egoist. Now... Why is that?

And that’s where I got mind-blown. I didn’t had to think a lot through it. I know some people won’t agree with this, but I’m a religious man and I do believe some things that are teached to us from the temples.

We, humans, are the only race that got tempted by the devil... And fall to it.

I got really excited after going through all that thought process with Inarji. And when I told him that, he agreed with me and we got to the same conclusion.

Now, some people may take all this as “well, if we’re all humans and our nature is being egoistic, then why fight against it?” or “Ok, but even if we know that, that won’t change how our society is right now”. Well, let me tell you something. IT JUST MIGHT.

At least that’s what I firmly believe. We artists have a HUGE responsability... And not only artists, to be honest. Every single one has this huge responsability of SPREADING THE WORD. You never know when you might change someone’s lifestyle just by a tiny little talk.

And well, as artists we get PAID to do that. That’s the main difference (and that’s why we’re more responsable because we can reach for a bigger audience and we have to do that if we want to eat). Same goes to activists and GOOD politicians.

So that’s what we all have to do. We have to do our best from where we are to try and improve this gallaxy... Or hyperspace or... Whatever you want to call it. It’s not just Delwund, but on Earth as well.

*Sigh* I looooove this sort of talks! It was so refreshing to just learn something that could help others...

Wellp, that was today’s entry. I think I might be doing this sort of stuff from time to time. I mean... I don’t know who on Earth watches all these messages, but I find this as an activity to get relaxed, clear my mind and spit some words out, whatever the theme may be.

So I want to stop just posting things about the day. For example, today wasn’t really much different from any other day. I went out with my friends from school (Zea, Inarji, etc. etc.) because today was Zmanne’s birthday. I helped Inarji get the hold of how Dewlth’s conglomerate Works (Same thing I did yesterday with Hussik). And those were today’s highlights!

See? I want to talk about things I find important, just like this talk I had today with Inarji.

Anyway, I should get back to doing my stash before it gets even more late.

Well, I’m currently at a family reunion because one of my cousins is turning 15 today. He doesn’t like to make it a big deal. He likes simple stuff, so he didn’t wanted any sort of party. It’s no surprise though. Not even as a little kid had he been keen for parties or too much social activity.

I think he’s really cool though. He’s the most “normal” out of all cousins (including me and my brother).

Because of that (and also because I have to do a lot right now for thesis), I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make a long post... Still, not much has happened on the last 2 days. I’ve been seriously busy!

I don’t even have time to actually DO anything aside my schedule (just as I thought would happen). For example, yesterday I got home at 10:08 p.m. and I just dinned and went to sleep. My brother wanted to play with me, but I went like “nope”. Tuesday is the day I can’t do anything besides working.

As for new stuff, today Hussik went to his social service with Dewlth. He’s from our same generation at school, but from the other classrooom. I’ll be seeing him AND Inarji a lot with Dewlth!

As such, I was in charge of teaching Hussik how Dewlth’s conglomerate works. That took me plenty of time to work on what I had to do, but it was fun! I really got all the basic spells and scroll writing Dewlth uses to secure his animism techniques (and avoid anyone from stealing the basics of it).

All those spells include explosions, meltdowns, and even energy implosions to avoid anyone from taking the core out of the scrolls or the construction of the automatons.

He got the hang of it sort of quick. I’m sure he’ll need help again tomorrow because you have to give it a few tries before you actually memorize everything perfectly.

Now, the job we had to do is basically an animism “toy” project. This is easier in some ways and more difficult in other ways. First of all, we have to make tiny scenery for the automatons to move there.

I... Well, actually we had all misunderstood what the 2 girls wanted to do with their project.

The project is from 2 girls who go teaching reeeeally basic animism to poor communities. They focus on young people. As such, the automatons were already built (by them). But we have to re-do some spells because their core and some mechanisms in every single automaton are just terribly built/sorcered.

After we do that, we have to make the automatons act on some way according to certain circumstances.

And that’s all we have to do. It’s 4 scenes, 2 props and 10 automatons. The project must be done in 3 months. Dewlth says that might be just enough time to finish, and we’re 4 people working on it without counting Inarji and Hussik so... I’m confident about the job.

Actually, yesterday I did 5 cores from the characters and today I did one more. Hussik did one today as well and he also did one of the props. Hussik started doing one of the scenes and I started doing another core, that means we’re missing 4 cores, 1 prop and 3 scenes to make before we can start with the spells... And this was only done by 2 people on 2 days! If Inarji, Dewlth, and the other 2 gouys start working with us... We’ll end everthing son enough!

I think that’s all the time I have for today. I hope this was at least a bit entertaining!

Whoa... Lots of things happened today.

Day started off easily. I took breakfast, got to school and used the hour I had before class to work on thesis. Then I went to a “festival” class.

This class is all about festivals and economic support that the government or even international institutions give to animists. It seems that’s going to be a fun class!

After that, Inarji, Zea, Lberi, Lbini and me got together to discuss several important themes about our own buisness and an ilustration competition we might be aplying to.

Once that got settled we went to the guy that had offered to help us create our conglomerate. Remember? I think it was around November when he came by to say our institution was helping upcoming buisness to get shaped.

We’ll be taking a course during this trimester on Fridays to create our conglomerate formally.

Then I left school on really high spirits... I’m really excited for what’s coming this trimester... But it doesn’t end there, OH NO! We’re just getting started on good news!

After that, Inarji and I took the route to Dewlth’s conglomerate. I think I’ll be seeing Inarji a lot since he’s going to start social service with Dewlth and, in my case... Well, I’ll get to that on a sec.

Inarji kept his route home and I went with Dewlth. When I got there, he said I had arrived just in time to cut the “King’s baje”. What’s that, you ask? Well, it’s an special type of sugary aed which is baked specially for this time of the year.

The funny thing about those is that it contains figurines inside. If you get one of those figurines, the 2nd of February you have to buy everyone another sort of special dish called “Samales”. These ones are a bit salty, kind of an aed, but not really. They can also be spicy or sweet, but usually they are salty/spicy.

Of course I had to cut the cake. Luckily, I got nothing. I really like that tradition, to be honest.

After that Dewlth signed and sealed the papers for the liberation of my social service... That’s a relief! I can’t deliver them to my school until the 14th because social service should be done in no less tan 6 months. I completed it earlier, but I still have to wait for the 6 months so I can turn them in.

Then Dewlth got contacted by Larek. They discussed some stuff about the Project they’re going to do and in the meantime I worked on my thesis.

Here comes the most interesting part

I’m... 80% officially hired!

It’s an 80% because I have not signed anything yet, but I will tomorrow! And I’ll also start working tomorrow! I have to work 20 hours a week and they’ll pay me 6,000 credits a month! That’s more than what people usually get on their first job!! Usually they get around 3,350 credits, so I’m getting almost double that ammount! It’s going to be tough, I know that... I might not sleep good some days, but I know it’ll be worth on money and on experience...

I’m feeling so fulfilled! It’s just... Oh, Creator... This day is one of the best days ever, seriously... My first job... It sounds just surreal! I’m getting payed by people which I do know, but whose money is not related at all to me. I’ve had “previous jobs” like working as a waiter with my dad or as a drawer/light stoner for some uncle’s agency or stuff like that... But this is a PRO job!

Let’s skip all the coming back home and such and go directly to my parents’ response to the news...

They were just as thrilled as I am.

Oh, Creator, again... I feel like crying of joy!

They opened up a bottle of smooth vine while eating. They were both really happy... They told me they were proud of me, they hugged me, they thanked me... I thanked them...

They have always supported me on any choice I’ve made. Good and bad ones. I know I have not been the best son there can be. Actually I had several flaws while growing up... I still have some of them... Yet they told me I was a good person, a good son...

Jeez... I’m... ecstatic... Seriously! I wish I could repay them and the Creator all they’ve given me! And I know I can give the Creator a bit back as long as I work hard and keep trying not to fall on bad stuff. The job and being busy will really help me out with that, I’m sure.

And about my parents... They’ve been the best. Seriously. They ain’t perfect, of course, but they took good care of us and they did a GREAT job on teaching us what is the most important: Love.

The rest of the day was spent on working on thesis, so... That’s not thrilling at all compared to the personal achievements I had today. And I also know I can festival my thesis and I WILL! I’ll do my best for the sake of everyone that worked on it, including me: Zylah, Ironheim (the echoist), Xannym (voice actress), Beryl... We’re all building this project together even though some of them are not participating on it actively because their job is done, they’re still constructing this.

Oh, I’m so, so grateful for everything I have! Seriously... I might not be the best at what I do, I might not be the most intelligent guy, I might not be the strongest, I might not be a terribly good person, I might not be the most organized or the one who spends most time studying... But I have been given so many blessings over my life...

Honestly, I don’t think I can keep up writing with this feeling. And this was all I wanted to post today anyway, so... I’ll just go keep on working for my dream.

Ohohoh, wait! before I leave. I won’t be able to post on Tuesdays because job (eehehehe), so... Sorry about that. But I’ll try to post every other day, ok?

Um... Hello? I guess?

Sorry for everything that didn’t happened here for the las few weeks. I just didn’t felt like posting because I had to do lots of stuff (half of which I didn’t even completed)

I’m getting back to this blog though because I’m already going back to clases tomorow! Which is actually a bit saddening, but also quite exciting! I’ll have less “free time” so to speak, but I’ll also work on thesis, I’ll probably start working officially... Plenty good things are coming this new year.

And that also means I want to keep posting here as frequently and as posible as I can. I’ve already settled I’ll start with these at 7:30 p.m. every day, but they can’t take longer than an hour on being finished.

Now, about the past few days. I went out with a bunch of people. I played some stuff with Zea... I spent a good ammount of time with my family, to be honest; and I don’t dislike that, but that certainly took a bunch of time from my schedule.

I have nothing TOO important to mention. These were some good days, but nothing really happened. I worked on thesis, I wrote some songs, I drew some stuff, I played by myself and with others, talked to my friends, went out with them... Had rehearsals...

Oh! Maybe something interesting is that I almost coudn’t walk for... Say... 4 days. My legs were devastated!

This story has to do with Kyo. We were supposed to have the XV rehearsal, but they canceled us the same day. So I decided to tag along with Kyo because he was going to work out with a trainer and such and I was like “sure, why not? It’s a good excuse to talk and such”. And I also got to see some friends we have in common.

Thing is, everyone there had been going to work out for around 2 weeks. So the trainer made me do the exact same thing everyone else was doing. At first it was just squats with jumps for 5 minutes. I didn’t felt like it was too much... But then came death. Push ups. And in top of that: FOR 5 MINUTES.

My pride didn’t allowed me to quit, but I was dead like halfway through. When I got back up, I got INCREDIBLY dizzy. I hadn’t felt like that for AAAAGES! I couldn’t stand, my head hurt a lot as well as my stomach. Everything was moving around me... At some point I even found it difficult to breathe.

I recovered after around 30 minutes, a liter of water and 2 sugary desserts.

I didn’t kept up with what everyone was doing (the trainer didn’t allowed it), but when everyone finished he gave me some more relaxed exercices. And everything went better from then on. That day we walked around the Art’s Plaza, talked a lot with friends and I even found some unexpected friend that was casually walking by.

But the next day I found it hard to bend my legs. I found it weird, but I didn’t thought I had to worry about it. And it was weird because I thought what would hurt the most were going to be my arms. But I did less with the arms tan I did with the legs to be honest. And that’s because I know I don’t have strong arms, but I thought the strongest part of me were my legs...

Now, the SECOND day...

Holy Molly, the second day!

I couldn’t even move my legs! They had to be straight or the worst pain attacked me! It was awful! It took me like 3 minutes to go up the stairs and the same ammount of time to go down... It was not good at all!

So yeah, a funny story about this whimpy guy here! You can imagine me walking like a wood automaton all around the house, having troubles to even sit down... Okok. It was funny now that I look back at it.

Well then. I think that would be something to talk about. I also got to read some good stories; thought lots of things and... Wellp, I think all that stuff I’ve learned by myself on these past few days is something to talk about with a cup of broonth or something... Because that’s deep stuff... Deffinitely not something to talk about over here because it would take me AGES!

Okokok. I should get going now because I also want to make some changes on my lifestyle. Starting by taking more care about myself. Not only on sleep hours, but also on food preparation and getting all the things I need (food, money, transport, etc.) for the next day the night before.

I won’t be posting daily, but as I said, I’ll try to post as much as I can, ok, guys? Expect me at this time!

Hello, everyone!

I’m not sure how to start this post specifically because... Wellp, I want to keep posting stuff, but not so much is going around right now. I guess my life circles around school and art and all that stuff, so... Now that I’m free to do anything I just keep doing those things...

So let’s just mention highlights again, starting from yesterday.

Again, I had rehearsal at 10 a.m. I think I’m getting closer to everyone there, but I sometimes still feel like I don’t want to work on that. Mainly because of the girl... She just puts no effort at all into improving. It seems like she’s not even interested on doing things the right way. She just goes like “meh, I’ll move. Whatever”. And that attitude is hard for me to bear with.

I try to motivate her any way I can. I’ve gone through the “you can do it” phase, to the “what’s your motivation” phase to the “Everyone will be looking at you that day” phase... I think she just wants to get this over with.

We’re still making improvements somehow. I try and go step by step where I see she has difficulties, so that kind of helps. The thing is, that works at a really slow rate. We have the time, but it’s still seriously tiring to keep up pantiently with her.

Once at home I drew, played and work on thesis until my parents arrived. Then I helped my dad do his special Satos. Those are a traditional Loorphian... Dish? Or something? I mean, if you say “Loorphia” anywhere around Delwund, most people tend to think of Satos and sombreros... And maybe mustaches...

The thing is, my dad lived 8 years abroad while studying university. He got serious troubles because he didn’t knew the language from that country, so he had to learn first in order to enter University. In the meantime he also had to work to pay food and his clases. I know he did lots of stuff, but what really got him out of worries was selling Satos. There are no sorillas (the basic ingredient for satos) anywhere around Delwund but on Loorphia. At least not the real sorillas made with born. So he decided to make sorillas out of something else.

And that’s why I had to help him. He wanted to teach me the recipie for his Satos. They are way different from normal satos, but they taste delicious! Seriously! I’m not saying that because it’s my dad, but he discovered something interesting!

After that we ate. We only made enough satos for the 3 of us to eat (my brother was at a party), but he made the mixture for satos for around 75 more satos because that’s what we’re dinning tomorrow with the entire family (With a bunch of other stuff, of course, since it’s Christmas).

I kept doing some stuff until we went to my aunt’s house (the one living 2 houses away from us) for a Posada. Those are traditional “parties / reunions” here on Loorphia. You take out a figurine of the Creator (In baby form) to lull it and then you “recreate” a scene from the pilgrims, asking for somewhere to stay for the night. That’s why it’s a “posada”.Lastly, you break up a piñata while blindfolded.

Then it’s just a huge dinne and everyone just talking with each other, maybe someone puts on music to dance to, or not... But it gets really comfy. It’s just a happy family reunion.

I also got to talk to Zylah. It’s funny how I had to explain some of our Christmas traditions to her despit she lives in Delwund just as I had to explain them to you, Earthlings. I guess even every region (let alone every country... Not to mention every planet!) lives their traditions way differently from others.

And that’s that for yesterday.

Meh. As for today, I have not much to say. I just had rehearsal. Kyo finally decided to show up so we could put his choreography (finally). I still had to make corrections on the new choreo, which was supposed to be Kyo’s jub, but I think he’s also fed up with it. I mean... He’s not being strict with them at all. He just allowed them to... Not even have the steps right, but just to know where they go according to the music... So I had to do half of his job.

Despite that, he asked me for advise on some exam he’s going to take at a dance studio. He’s on a dance Project there, but since he’s both teaching and learning, he was asked to perform as such for a test they are making. He wants to mix Oping with some other dances he’s learnt there, but he had no idea how to do it.

And here you have an art lesson. Which was almost the same thing I applied to help him:

Art is about stealing stuff.

But it doesn’t stop there. You have to steal from lots and lots of different places: Life, art itself, religion, philosophical themes, science... EVERYWHERE!

It’s important you do not steal just because you thought it was cool or because you like that, but you have to steal things that will help you talk about what you want to talk about on your art piece (performance, composition, etc.) and what you want to achieve with it. If it doesn’t help, despite the reference being magnificent, DON’T USE IT!

Now, you have all this stuff you want to steal from and that checks with all the mentioned above. Now what you should do is decompose them. Not everything will help you on your theme or on your goal, so get rid of that and conserve only what you need. It can be shapes, colors, tones, rythm, movement quality, choreography (which is not the entire piece, it’s just knowing where and when to move), mood, light, angles, etc. etc. etc.

YOu have all those ieced appart? Good! now start combining stuff together! That’s where art comes to life! Nothing is completely new. Every single piece of art is done this way. Some have more elements, some have less in them, but they are all done this way, and that’s how you get inspired, and how you can build “NEW” UNIQUE ART!

So yeah, there you go, a free lesson on how to art.

I didn’t mentioned Kyo just that, but an aplication of that into what he wants to do. It would be hard for me to explain, but in short I asked him to search for references so he could combine stuff, but with emphasis on dancing elements.

After that I went to a library to buy my brother a book. He asked for it on our anual cousin exchange. I went walking and it got me on a good mood. I was already on a good mood, but it was more of a calmed down mood. That got me relaxed, but ready to work on whatever I wanted to do when I got home.

And right now I’m posting this thing. I’m doing it rigt now because I think I won’t have time at night to do it since we’re about to leave and go eating with the family to some aunt’s house.

I think I’m going to keep composing Reenah’s song now before going to eat, so... See you, guys!

Ok. We left it on Saturday, so now it’s Sunday’s turn

I woke up… Wait, no. I was awaken by my parents, just as every single birthday (I’m getting used to start with that sentence). I love that part about birthdays in my family. They wake you up and sing a birthday song. They also give the birthday guy a present whule he’s still in bed.

This time my present was a strategy board game with automatons on different difficulties. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THOSE TYPE OF GAMES! I’ve always loved strategy board games of any type. This was similar to what you guys call “chess”, but the thing is the automatons have a “life span” and each turn you move several pieces to fight against the other pieces. It’s not just moving one at a time and “eating” each other’s pieces. You have to think through stats and movements, not only movements.

Then some aunts and uncles arrived to have breakfast. I was hoping more cousins would come, but almost no one came… It was kind of relaxed compared to other birthdays I’ve had where the house is full with people and all the cousins play together a bunch of stuff or even just cards, but oh, well. Everyone is getting busier and busier, including myself, so I understand.

Then I spent a huge ammount of time playing with the board game. It’s not very difficult so far, but every movement you make counts and the automatons were given an experience based learning, so it will get harder as I advance on the game.

At 5:00 p.m. we went to the temple. I thanked the Creator for another year full of blessings despite some flaws I’ve had and we went back home after the lecture.

Then we ate and you know the rest of the story. I posted here and in the meantime I talked with Reenah, Zea and Zylah. To be honest, Zea took everything I said better than I expected. Our friendship seems to be as good as always and maybe even better because she said she was glad I had that sort of trust with her.

I played with my brother after that and then it was time for me to go to sleep.

And so, we finally get to monday.

I had to wake up early again because I had rehearsal for the XV at 10:00 a.m. They didn’t got in time, so I decided to draw for a while. I forgot to mention that, but on the past few days I’ve been drawing a lot and I’m glad about that! Maybe I will post something here soon because… Why not?

Anyway, we had our rehearsal, I feel more relieved now because it’s looking better. There are still some details on some chamberlains, but we’re doing fine on time.

After that I came back home and I played with my brother. I also drew a bit and worked on the other golem for the thesis. As I work on it, things get clearer on how to scroll him, so it should be finished son... Hopefuly.

(From now on I’ll just mention important stuff that happened)

On tuesday I visited a friend of mine called Zmerea (There seems to be plenty of names which start with Z on girls). She’s also from my high-school. I had never gone to her house, so it was kind of an ordeal. I later discovered she didn’t lived so far away from one of my aunt’s house. We pretty much talked all day. Her family Works on a restaurand under her house, so we could talk loudly and comfortably on her living room.

Then we went to the theater to see a Alliegh performance. Alliegh is an Antique dance, but it’s still practiced and it’s considered the base of every branch of dance known nowadays. The performance we saw is also a classic. It’s called the Nutcracker, and has music from a famous composer called Tchaivonovsky.

The show was OK. It was divided into 2 acts. The first one was boooaring to be honest. It had some good moments, but Zmerea and I almost fell asleep on that part.

Now the second act... That was MARVELOUS! It presented characters from several parts of Delwund dancing Alleigh, but with a touch of their cultures! It was certainly astonishing. It was so that despite the act 2 being longer on time, it felt really short.

Anyway. It was late at night when we went back. But before leaving Zmerea home, we went for dinner. I have to mention we wen with my family. They also saw the performance. My brother also took a friend of his and an aunt, uncle and cousin went as well, so we all went dinning.

That was a really god day. I saw a long time no see-friend and I also got to see a good Alleigh performance!

We got home at 1:30 a.m. so you can guess why I did not post at all.

Wednesday was really normal. I played, I worked on thesis, I drew, of course I rehearsed with the XV girl. The only different thing happened at night. I left home to go to this bazar that always opens on these times, and that’s not only because it’s a tradition to go there with the entire family, but because a cousin from Fadalaj finally came to visit.

She’s older than me... And you could say she’s the one cousin I almost don’t know anything about. She was studying design but she didn’t finished due to finantial problems with my uncles, so now she works at a hotel at Banboon (She’s from Fadalaj, but she moved to Banboon which is a turistic beach city in the south of Loorphia).

She got reeeally tanned. I remember her, but she used to be less tanned. On Loorphia most people are brunet, so she is as well, but her skin was deffinitely darker since last time I saw her. She was wearing Banboon clothes, which are more handicrafted than clothes we use here on Loorphia City.

Despite that, we didn’t saw our cousin who also arrived that day from Zentron. I think I have already talked about him. He’s studying on Zentron. The thing is, he decided to see his friends instead of coming to the bazar with us.

So we dinned there and one of our cousins said we should go to her house and play, but that would have made us to go to sleep to an aunt’s house instead of ours and I couldn’t do that since I had rehearsal today as well, so we had to pass.

And that was it for the past few days! I’m finally up to date!

Ok, I think we left it on Friday, so let’s move on to Saturday.

The things you have to know about Saturday is that I was busy for the entire day! I woke up and I had to immediately go rehearse with Kyo for the XV. I got there on time and we started at 11. This was a loooong rehearsal because we finished at 4:30 p.m. Mainly because we needed to improve some stuff and finish the choreographies because we’re only a month and a half from the XV party.

After that, I came back home, took a shower and got ready for my party. I had a Little bit of time to relax, so I played a bit with my brother.

Then came the party… It was Ok, but I honestly was expecting more people to arrive. Kyo came with his cousin Cina, which is also a good friend of mine. A friend from m childhood called Quigo also came with his girlfriend and another friend I met 5 years ago called Koah. Some friends of my brother also came, a high school friend called Rebeesah came, and Ria came as well with the guy he’s almost dating (I had mentiones Ria already. She’s a dencer, friends with Kyo).

But those were pretty much everyone at the “party”. This time it was more like a reunion because of the few people that came. I still danced a bit with he girls. I love dancing to “Ralsa”, which is a syncopated rythm. Reeeeally smooth and you need to know how to guide your partner in order to dance well, so it’s also a bit challenging depending on the girl you dance with and how you want to dance.

Kyo left early because his cousin was really tired (Or that’s what he used as an excuse, because I later found out that he had gone to another party… I got a bit jealous, to be honest, but mostly I felt bad because I seriously was expecting more people to come. I know it was my fault for not paying much attention to the party organization… But it sill felt baaad… I’m sorry to say this, guys, but this was the least exciting party I’ve had. I won’t say the worst, because I still had fun and that would give it a negative feeling, but… Eh).

The good thing that came from all this is that in the end the only ones left at the party was Koah, her friend, Ria and her date, and me. Funny thing is that Koah got into a modeling agency a while ago and I got recommended by her to the agency she worked in to draw the models for advertisement.

The thing is I was a huuge friend of Koah and she knew I loved life drawing, so around 2 years ago I had a session with her about that. This is something not many people know about me. I absolutely love life drawing. I think it’s the best way to practice drawing skills, and I find the human figure as a beautiful gift from the Creator (if it’s looked at with propper eyes, of course, and not on a vulgar manner); but the thing is it’s really difficult to find models for that. We took sessions at school when we had Anathomy class and expressive figure drawing, but that was almost 3 years ago.

So, after that, Koah quitted working as a model because of her studies and because she also had another job on the side and since then we hadn’t got any chance to session. So that day she brought up the conversation theme and Ria heard as well. She offered to be a model! I was so glad! I could finally practice life drawing again! Of course, we didn’t got as specific as to put on a specific date or anything, but at least I have a model again. And not only that, but she convinced Koah to session again… with her… That… I’m not sure about that. I found out some funky stuff about Ria on Saturday, so I’m not sure I like that idea.

Anyway, the good thing is now I have 2 models so that means I’ll be able to retake life drawing and also do it more often.

Aaaand again, I think I’ll have to leave it here since it’s late and tomorrow I also have XV rehearsal, so… I hope I can post tomorrow, but it’s going to be a really busy day. Sorry to leave you guys like this again, but that’s what it is…
