SO I WILL WARN YOU NOW, THIS STORY IS EFFECTIVELY SPEAKING SPURNED FROM A BIRTHDAY GIFT TEN YEARS AGO, BUT IT TURNED INTO A THING AND I LOVE IT A LOT.

SO!

First off, Yuugan's a 'facet' of sorts of Matt from his original timeline that sort of melded into other AUs based on the idea I had of letting him act as a second consciousness in him, based from experiments that had happened from Relius (a chronophantasma sure, but even so)

In some stories, he ends up getting his own body, leaving Matt to retain his own strengths but having his own differences in terms of fighting style.

AS FOR THE TEN SAGES STORYLINE

THAT'S THE FUNNY BIRTHDAY THING TURNED CRAZIER.

IT ALL STARTED CUZ I ASKED A FRIEND TO WRITE NINE AS A BDAY GIFT, and I decided;

'Lemme write Seven and Eight from Phase Shift!'

And it doesn't help that said friend also wrote Kazuma Kval, I ended up having Eight get close with Kazuma, while Matt and Nine (going under her new name Koa) were their own side.

Seven had ambitions, and eventually, the idea I had would lead to the XBlaze Sages also being a thing.

Unfortunately, Koa and Matt were in fact separated via phenomena intervention outright erasing the former, the chronophantasma he fought being a more 'proper' Phantom, rather than the Koa he came to fall in love with.

The drabble series I was writing was meant to invoke the idea of being a series finale, since the writing partner as far as I know had moved on from tumblr (and I'm too nervous to ask him to write more on discord lol, we're both busy dorks)

Anyways, with this in mind, do you have birthdays for the rest of the Maragis???

THIS ONE IS ACTUALLY A GOOD ONE I CAN ANSWER--!

Mason's birthday is actually today! Which is my birthday, but also what I chose for the unintended 'holiday' of Courageous follower day. Because he was someone who'd always follow Bullet without hesitation.

Caliber's birthday is January 24th, which has a similar unexpected holiday of 'Just Do It' day, fitting her rather forward mindset with fighting her hardest.

A bit different than my usual fare, but I lost a wager in a set of Vanilla Central Fiction with my friend @nkn0va and he gave me a prompt to work with. So I hope this is up to your expectations my friend.

(And I s2g if I win the rematch I will do my best to give a good prompt for you too)

But without further ado--! The prompt I was given;

Trinity's S/O who's also a mage coping with the news about her death. They're able to use magic to keep themselves alive to the events of the C-Series and reuniting with her when they come across Luna + Sena after all that time.

So when you found out about what happened to Trinity after she had been killed by Terumi, you initially couldn't believe it. Terumi was still under the mind eater, right?

For the most part, you were never really 'aware' of Kazuma still being the 'vessel' you only ever seen Terumi in control of their actions even with the mind eater keeping him from letting loose, so to speak. So it makes sense you'd be shocked hearing that the spell had been broken free.

The real kicker was the fact Jubei understood your pain and disbelief, but when he revealed Nine was also killed in that incident, it made the truth a bit more unbearable. Especially with the fact that Hakumen had sacrificed himself to go to the boundary with Terumi.

After that day, you had decided to roam the world, planning to try and find answers to what could've happened to let Terumi have free reign for his plan.

Fast forward to the C-Series, you're relatively no worse for wear, having used magic to sustain your health and relative 'youth' so to speak.

Jubei still makes sure to pop in and check on you, still aware of the pain you've no doubt held close to your chest. But he warns you about someone known as 'Phantom', you have concerns to why he is giving you this warning, but you decide to take heed of the warning.

Unfortunately, a bit after that, you learn that you're being followed by a strange, cloaked child who seems to have no connection to you, nor do you have one to them. It gets to a point that you try and lose them, but before long they're seen right out the corner of your eye.

This child, strange and sassy as she is, points a familiar staff at you.

You recognize that staff... It was the Muchorin. You ask the hooded child why they have it. Almost ready to demand how they got it, but before you could say anything...

"It's been a long time..."

That voice was unmistakable to you, and you immediately crouch down to eye level. Only one word escapes you... "Trinity?"

After a brief moment's hesitation, the hood came down. It was still a child, but her hair color, and her little bows on her hair were no coincidence, this was in-fact 'Trinity' in some form.

Trinity tells you everything that happened, since Jubei had likely informed her about how you felt learning about her demise at Terumi's hands, every last detail.

You were certainly incensed learning Terumi was able to bust free from the Mind Eater, but when she had told you it was 'her' fault for trusting someone like Kazuma, you were confused. Who was this Kazuma she was talking about?

She explains that before you came into her life, she had someone who she had similar sights on, Kazuma Kval. Unbeknownst to you, he was the original personality in Terumi's then-current vessel. You could at least respect that she had someone similar to you, but the fact Kazuma used her kindness and repaid her in death seemed to set you off.

Before you can ask her what you can do, Trinity pulls you into a hug, stopping any train of thought as you both have a tearful moment to let any excess emotion out.

After a while, she explains how she had been able to return via the Muchorin, and her current body. Seeing your smile again gave her some closure, before she'd tell you to go on and wait for her in the Ikaruga Federation.

That is something I actually never thought about, honestly--!

It's actually a pretty strong question all things considered, I never had thought about it, cuz I personally didn't have 'many' pairings to work with. Although I'd legitimately have to consider a Bang/Litchi fankid because that'd be fun.

A continuation from here based on an ask by @softcoresuffering asking about Act 1 dialogue! (Which I had a lot of fun doing!) I'll be starting with Mason 'HJ' Maragi in this post and will give matt and caliber their respective act 2 and 3 posts when I can!
