A surprised yet, puzzled expression appeared on her soft features. She didn’t exactly know how to respond to such a question, to the very least it was amusing. Not wanting to be rude, she kept that particular thought to herself, but soon found herself not being able to control the small giggle that escaped her lips in just a few short moments. Covering her mouth, she attempted to stop but it failed until the amusement died down. ”S-Sorry…” she spoke in a apologetic manner, but a smile still remained on her lips.

”I umm… don’t exactly have tea on me right now, but I could make you some at home, if you like?” in her mind, she gasped. Did she really just invite him over to her house? Her politeness was a horrible habit, but she tried to convince herself that it couldn’t be too bad.

- Hazel eyes slanted, watching the girl laugh. It did confuse him, but humans always did so. It wasn’t uncommon for humans, especially the onna, to act in such odd outbursts of emotion. Whatever the reason it didn’t concern him all too much. At least she hadn’t done what most would do and call for Kurosaki, or alert Soul Society. Not that she could very easily. But that instilled a sort of relief into him. The onna even invited him to her own home. How curious.

- He smiled, his eyes closing for a moment.

The gesture did mean a little to him. It was better than being sensed by the Shinigami. No matter, he had a place now.

Now she was in an awkward position, she had invited him to her home. There's no taking that back, even if she did, she'd probably feel guilty over it. The only thing left was to actually bring him there. Upon being thanked by him, she responded by giving him a soft smile then turned around. ''Just follow me, my house is just around the corner.''

Even with her smile, she hadn't completely trusted him yet. But she kept telling herself to give him a chance, even if it killed her. Hopefully it didn't.

”Ulquiorra-kun….” her eyes widened at him, stunned by his sudden spoken words. ”D-Did you….?” she came to the conclusion of him killing Ichigo once again, but her mind told her not to believe such a thing. Hearing these words from him, so casually just made her immediately assume the worst possibility. Whatever happened, it still meant Ichigo was gone. He wasn’t coming back, ever. All these years of being friends with him, and being able to get close to him, they all just simply vanished in the blink of an eye. In reality, she knew the suffering he went through, so maybe now it’ll get better for him. He won’t have to fight anymore, he won’t have to get hurt anymore, and he won’t be able to know the feelings she had for him either.

That was fine with her, she was at fault herself for being too much of a coward for not confessing sooner. Maybe... eventually she'll move on, but her feelings will never change, she'll always love him whether he's dead, or alive.

"Tatsuki...Has passed away."

The words echoed through her mind, the sentence being heard repeatly. Yes, she had plenty of friends. But Tatsuki was different, a person who has always looked out for her since the beginning from when she got bullied,and teased. Orihime had always felt ashamed from having to keep so many secrets from her, and even now, she felt even more ashamed knowing that maybe if she was stronger, she could've protected Tatsuki, her best friend. More than a best friend, she was practically her family. This.. couldn't be true, Orihime refused to believe it.

''It's... it's a lie, right? Please, tell me that you're lying Kuchiki-kun.'' Unfortunately, she knew well he wouldn't had came all the way here to merely tell her a lie. It was almost impossible to think of living without Tatsuki. What she wished was for this to just be a terrible nightmare, and hopefully she'll wake up soon. But this pain, it felt real, she was facing reality. Reality hurts, badly. For a moment, she stood silent trying to make out this situation. ''Maybe... maybe I could still save her?'' she asked herself, attempting to put on a smile, but her pain fought back and the tears soon started streaming down her cheeks.

''T-Tatsuki-chan.....'' she softly cried, ''Thank you for always being there for me all these years, you helped me... become who I am today. I could never thank you enough.''
