Right. Well. Can't lie that was not what I wanted. Closure is good and I like that she's a tactician but it feels wayyyy too early to have Kal back in any way shape or form. The most narratively satisfying next step imo would be a 'came back wrong' situation but they already did that with CE. which I actually really liked. and this would also cheapen that.

I saw someone saying it would be a skalter situation where she's technically not canon but there's no way they would do that again for Kal of all characters. it kind of feels like a cash grab but also. I don't know it does make sense for the 7th anniversary to have something huge with two heavy-hitters. And at the end of the day the main storyline is not what I'm most invested in compared to other stories so it's not too big of a deal. I guess it still feels too early like mon3tr didn't even get a chance to shine properly yet.

and that's not even getting into kal2's kit because genuinely wtf are we doing ....

on the more positive side I liked all the skins that were revealed! Nothing was a huge standout but I still liked them and might pick some of them up depending on my savings at the time.

also is7 looks good as fuckkkkkk I'm so glad we're going someplace new with a new aesthetic. also gives me a fresh dose of copium for new maggie content bc the black flow is mentioned in her files + her involvement in is4 might lead to her at minimum having a cameo.

If I'm feeling very hopeful I might say that she could get a skin in the rewards.... or her alter which is definitely real and happening might even be the feature operator for the vignette before it (← the coperrrrrrr)(I don't actually want this I promise). I'm kind of surprised she hasn't gotten an IS module yet . which clearly means that they're cooking up an alter for her of course.

but anyway I'm so excited for is7. I don't fw is6 at all so this is huge for me
