A peek at our Johnny Cash “Live at Big ’D’ Jamboree” EP coming off the press today.
I don’t have this record yet, but I can’t wait to receive this bad boy in the mail! A great addition to the Cash collection.
Interpol, Turn On The Bright Lights, 2012 Reissue, Matador Records
It has been a while since we have posted here on tailored wax. Work has been grueling lately and I honestly just haven’t felt like posting. But I have uploaded a few today and I started providing the links to the discogs listing for each record that I post. People have been asking things like, Where can I get this record?, so I figured I would give people who are interested an option for buying if they feel like it. Discogs isn’t the end all be all, but it’s a start and you should definitely check multiple options before purchasing records online. I just got this record in the mail today and it was a great inexpensive gem. Only cost me $10 for a mint copy! A great steal for sure. I hope everyone is having a good week :)
Joy Division, autosuggestion, Unknown Release Date, Unofficial Bootleg

The White Stripes, Get Behind Me Satan, 2015, Third Man Records
Dizzy Gillespie feat. Lalo Schifrin, Live At The Monterey Jazz Festival
1979, ALA Records
Whodini, Open Sesame, 1987, Jive Records
Goldfrapp, Felt Mountain, 2015 RSD, Pressed on white vinyl, Mute Records
One of my pick ups from RSD yesterday.
The Black Keys, The Big Come Up, 2011 Pressing, Alive Records
In celebration of RSD I wanted to post one of the first records that I ever purchased. I would have to say being around my homie who really appreciated blues music, he is also the one that got me into digging, made me really appreciate albums like this one. Honestly, whether you participate in digging every day, or every once in a while, being able to appreciate music in its various mediums is what is really important. So get out there and download some albums (legally or illegally), make some youtube playlists, create spotify accounts, get some old CDs or cassettes and jam out to the tunes that make you feel right.

Happy RSD everyone! Hopefully you all got to go out and support your local shops. These are a couple of (obvious) teaser photos of the two RSD exclusive vinyl that I picked up today. I also raided the dollar section and nabbed some great inexpensive records. Will be posting more detailed shots of these later :)
Nirvana, In Utero (2013 Mix), Black Friday RSD Release, DGC & Universal M.E.
Another record for 45 Fridays. This is an incredible mix. I normally steer clear of remixes/remasterings of Nirvana, mostly because of what happened with the 20th anniversary remastering of Bleach, but this particular version is incredible. With all the little bells in whistles that you would want from a reissue, this pressing is dead quiet and I love it. Great pick up and worth the madness I had to go through to get it.
