Yup it is produced by Dan Auerbach
Also TURTLE IN A TURTLENECK 🫠🥺🥺
Sunlight in the Shadows not playing on american radio yet is actually kind of offensive to me. Its out, its new, it was recorded in America, it should be. Miles Kane should be, hell its recorded in TN by Dan Auerbach so like, why wouldnt he be played on the radio, what is wrong with American radio, he’s relatively low risk to give a go, start cycling him into late night radio you dont even have to put him on primetime hours just START.

I loved the NME interview parts where Miles talks about his experience working with Dan Auerbach.
It often feels as if Miles has had to constantly fight for his chances when it comes to his solo career. But Dan really said "I want you!", gave it his all, and it became such a special thing. I can already feel that this is gonna be an amazing album.

Thinking about Miles telling the story on Radio X last night about how writing with Dan Auerbach came about…
How daunting must it have been to fly across the world to write songs with someone you’ve never met before? I mean, it’s one thing to go for a ‘work meeting,’ but something else entirely, to go over for a couple of weeks and come up with (personal?) lyrics with a stranger. It must take some strength of character to do this.
And, to cap it all, Miles forms a strong connection with Dan, who then wants to not only produce the record and but also have him support the Black Keys this July.
Further proof of how fabulous he is. 🐢 💚
