You picked such a hard one for me because I have too much love to give (๑◕︵◕๑) in every fandom I’ve been in. If we’re talking about all-time favs right now, then there’s quite a few.

One of the characters on the list is Honda-san from Skullface Bookseller! I find him so relatable when he panics and tries to help customers. Still, he does his work well and helps his coworkers out whenever he can. I pretty much binge all the translated manga I could get my hands on and it’s amazing comic relief. I would recommend the anime too!

Next it would have to be Sung Ji-woo from Solo-leveling, it’s a webcomic that I would highly suggest anyone get into if you’re into action. Some elements of the story could be compared to BNHA. 

Character Development Questions // Accepting.

Prompt 5: Matter of Fact

Who: Seselahi Rerelahi

What: Selah deals with a disgruntled customer of his freelance scribe business.

Where: Hawker’s Alley, Limsa Lominsa

When: Two or three years ago, perhaps?

Content: Physical assault (but no injury), swearing. 

Selah glanced down at the fist curled in the chest of his tunic, fighting down a nauseating wave of panic as scarred knuckles brushed his sternum. Nevertheless, the look on his face was one of utter boredom as he stared up at the seaman who had accosted him. The fellow was snarling, teeth bared, his breath washing over Selah's face. 

"Kindly unhand me." Selah pitched his voice low and did his best to swallow silently. "I already said I would refund your coin."

"Are you gonna refund the bells I spent in a bloody dodo chase because yer godsdamned form was missin' a line?"

Selah set his jaw. It was pointless to argue. It would only escalate the situation -- he knew this. 

He continued.

"As I have already said: my form was missing nothing. The form you provided was recreated exactly, containing all of the information with which I was furnished. The fact that the form you provided was for a different shipping company was pointed out to you when you put in the request, but I recall quite clearly---"

"HANG what you recall, you mouthy little shite! You give me my--"

"--yes, your money back, as I was about to do before you assaulted me, sir."

Selah knew that arguing his point would only escalate the situation. And he also knew, as the client hauled him up nearly onto the countertop of his booth, that the other merchants of Hawker's Alley tended to frown on this sort of behavior toward their fellow vendors.

A heavy hand landed on his client's shoulder. The man's fingers sprang open in shock, releasing his tunic, and Selah stumbled backward. 

"Ye alright, Seselahi?" The tackle vendor from the booth across the way was normally a jolly sort, but now he had transformed into a great green thunderhead -- and unless Selah was mistaken, his disgruntled customer was beginning to look distinctly unwilling to get caught in the rain. 

Selah smiled tightly, tossing a small pouch of gil onto the counter. "Thank you, Syneyhil. I believe the gentleman will be taking his refund and leaving." 

Selah held himself straight until the disgruntled customer had slunk from view down the alley and Synehil had gone back to hawking his rods. With shaking hands, Selah strung the "CLOSED" chain across his booth. That was quite enough excitement for one day.

“You want the truth? I’m a coward. Not just the ‘doesn’t want to use violence, has anxiety in crowds’ coward, but a deep sated self serving coward. The kind to be shamed and scolded and spurned, should people know their true nature. It’s why I haven’t been really home-home in years, and it’s why nothing about the entire thing’s gotten better despite me doing... well, other things.

Sun has… strange sleeping habits. He can’t sleep peacefully without something heavy on top of him, because his younger sisters all used to dogpile (catpile?) him to sleep when he was staying back at home. If he’s not mildly uncomfortable going to sleep, then he can’t sleep.

Nowadays if he’s out traveling and decides to stay the night at an inn, he’ll drag some furniture onto the bed and hug it to sleep. (Of course, he puts everything back in the morning.)

If he’s spending the night in the field, he’ll either fill his bag with rocks and hug that, or find a big boulder to drag on top of him. It probably looks like he’s being crushed. 

If someone is unfortunate enough to share a sleeping space with him, he will drag them on top of him. If that isn’t awkward enough, he also has octopus tendencies. As in, he’s a heat leech and will somehow end up wrapping all four limbs around his poor victim in an unbreakable vice grip until he wakes up. THERE IS NO ESCAPE.

I’ve been trying to take some time for myself while also working, so I’ve been pretty busy. I still log into FF once-twice a week for FC stuff, but for a long time before 5.3 it felt.... odd and kinda sad to log in?

That being said, I have been semi-interested in returning... At least in terms of screenshots and art. I’m a little anxious about returning to full-blown rp with others (namely I am a perfectionist and worry that I won’t do well/might be rusty)... But I suppose if I put my feelers out, maybe I could see if people are still interested in Nio?
