about last weekend ⋆˙⟡
I crossed a few things off my backlogs (yay!) —
Since it’s a weekend, I decided to watch Voicemails for Isabelle. I’ve been wanting to watch it the past weeks and at last, the time has come. It’s been a while since I felt good watching a movie. I laughed, I cried. But my favorite part? Probably the ending. That’s what really got me ♥︎ And can we talk about LSS? Dancing on My Own has been living rent-free in my head all week! T’was good.
Another one off my list. After a long pause, I finally made it through the Book of Ezekiel 🙌🏻
One thing that I love the most about Bible reading is being always reminded of God’s unending mercies and unconditional love. I haven’t been the most consistent in my quiet times these past months, and this verse is one of the verses that spoke to me the most:
EZEKIEL 36:26 KJV
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
It felt like God was inviting me back — not with guilt, but with grace. It was a quiet reminder from God that new beginnings are always possible. It was as if God was saying, “You can start again.”
And so, we begin.
