While there is a photo of Zulymar “Zu” Velazquez at two years old holding her first basketball in Jersey City, New Jersey, pursuing the sport was not even a consideration at that time. It has been a remarkable transition to see a former child model become a dedicated basketball player.

Zu began playing in 2021 and, in just five years, has already achieved a great deal. We are very proud of her accomplishments and growth as an athlete.
