Inktober Day 1: Zren Zren was one of the Ancients appointed by the gods to rehabilitate the earth, after the threat of humanity had been addressed. Once this job was done however, he began to take it upon himself to ensure that humanity would never again be allowed to take root. Long story short, he used his almost limitless power to instill fear, which ultimately caused a major setback akin to the dark ages. All history before the event known as The Creation had been cast aside and forgotten. Only a few artifacts remained of what was once the Modern Age, which were hidden and preserved until a later date, when the story of The Creation was told akin to a biblical event. Though most now regard the Ancients and the events surrounding them as myth, there are still whispers of their presence. Zren met his end at the hands of another Ancient, though not before disposing of his enemy first. With a final curse, Zren managed to delay death and preserve his power, though at a cost that even he hadn't anticipated. He would be reborn in human skin.

Finished modeling Zren and tried my hand at giving him some texture and color. Still new to this ZBrush thing, but it's nice to learn!
