The party met a German crab robot merchant who offered to give us discounts on his wares if we stole the supplies of his competitors. Since his competitors are jerks who we’ve had bad experiences with in the past (and because he said we could keep some of the goods we take) we happily agreed.

We went to robot Starbucks an abandoned warehouse full of robo-millennials mooching off it being a wi-fi hot spot. From there we could access the internet for our own robot cleric buddy Kahn to help us figure out where we could download a map of the area.

Some things happened in a plasticed off hazmat hallway and one thing lead to another which lead to us fighting a huge ooze cyclops monster. Which when killed turned into a smaller humoid monster that fought using its own bones as projectiles. Which left behind a human corpse when it died the second time.

Our Paladin felt pity for the woman who’d been turned into that monster, and the party agreed to help bury her. We discovered this is our most religious party out of all ours games so far (2 clerics of different gods, a paladin of an evil god who is being adopted by two of the other PCs gods, a ranger who worships a former PC who ascended, and a bard from an island who worships a storm/sea god.) Only our sorcerer isn’t religious. We tried to convince her to start worshipping a dragon god so that we’d be an all-devout party.

After using speak with dead to get some info and burying the body, we went to leave. We wanted to go sleep because that two part battle had really tapped us. Instead, we got a broadcast on the tablet Kahn had been using to access the area’s network. Our good friend, our party’ druid who had been kidnapped weeks ago, was being held in the town’s arena and we were told to go and face the king of the arena if we wanted to save her.
